So I had uninstalled Morrowind because I had downloaded some texture overhaul mods that I no longer wanted to play with. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it, and nothing happened. It still had all the kids.

So this time I uninstalled the game, and deleted the entire Morrowind folder, including mods (the unzipped mod files I saved in another folder), and when I install the game now - well its not running with the texture mods anymore, but all the mods are still loaded in the data files section of the main menu, and i can't clear them out.

I'm playing on Windows 7 if that helps.

I'm not sure. The game gets it's list from the morrowind.ini file, but that should have been deleted along with the Morrowind folder.

For the heck of it, find the file (the icon looks like a notebook with a gear on it) and open it with wordpad or notepad. Scroll to the bottom and you should see a listing titled Game Files. See if it includes the offending mods. You could try deleting them manually and see what happens. You'll need full admin privileges to do this if it's installed in the Program Files (x86) directory.

Hmm... I just checked that after reading your post. The .ini file only shows Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm, and Bloodmoon.esm

But when I go into the autorun menu, it still has all of the mods.

And now I'm getting the snowflake BM_Snow_01.nif error.
