Uninstalling Let There Be Darkness

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:51 am

I decided to uninstall simply because of how NPCs can see you in complete darkness, although I like the idea and feel like it's how dungeons should have been done, was getting a little frustrating needing night eye to play a stealth character since the NPCs kind of break the illusion.

Anyway, I uninstalled but it seems like it's still in effect in my game. Tried just deactivating with OBMM as well as manually deleting files from it. Not sure what I'm missing.

Did you rebuild your bashed patch if you are using one?

Light level does affect NPC stealth detection... perhaps you just need a mod which tweaks that factor up?

were you also using Ambient Dungeons? the two together can get very dark, and AD does NOT affect NPC's detection.

No, guess I will try that thanks.

Yes, using both.

Edit: Yeah tried disabling ambient dungeons, seems like ambient dungeons makes dungeons very dark on it's own, so I'm pretty sure I uninstalled Let There Be Darkness fine now and just didn't realize how dark ambient dungeons made things.

/facepalm @ myself.
