Unique creatures... should skyrim have them?

ie we have frost trolls... should there be a uniqe frost troll?

I think so, and have many more.

New vegas did unique creatures well.. ie the gargantuan radscorpion in the fire station in the irradiated town.

would be cool to add some lore to them like the uderfrykte in OB.

No, I want generic enemies across the board. No retextures, unique skins, unique loot, anything of that sort outside the norm. :tops:

of course. it would be more fun if, say, 1 out of 4 of these trolls were overly aggressive, and 1/15 of them are neutral about you(doesnt attack you on site). its would add a bit more variation in your encounters rather than notice enemy, swish swish stab, ???, profit.

Unique creatures make the game more interesting rather than a horde of generic bandits or goblins

I want the Kraken, Cthtulu, Centaur, Abominabal Snowmen things like this would greatly deepen the world

Absolutely. Oblivion had the giant slaugherfish. And extremely rare creatures that are not unique as well. Uber-Rare, but not one of a kind.

On a more serious note, I think the one of a kind creatures should be very difficult to find, i.e. the giant slaughterfish in OB, it was impossible to get to unless you had a water breathing spell or were playing an Argonian. There should be rewards like that for people who explore dungeouns to their full extent, sort of like the seceret areas in DOOM, though not as hard to find.

As for rare species, their should be about 8 or 10 of them in game, and they should also be difficult to find, but not nearly as difficult as the one of a kind monsters.

Also, for any unique or rare monsters, there should be some kind of souvenir you can pick from their bodys, like a horn, head, or hide.

Ditto for armor and weapons. I want tons of uniqueness!!!

Great Idea man, actually when the game comes out If I learn the creation kit I'll do it myself, if not then I'll try to have a modder do that. I doubt they are going to put that in the game though.
