Personally, I would like to see some item that were common in other games make an appearance. For example, I'd like to see a few sigil stones still floating around. Or maybe a few ruined Oblivion gates. Heck maybe taking a sigil stone to a ruined gate would reopen it for a short time and let you enter Oblivion.

Here a few ideas for unique items though:

Hero's Shard:
Amulet made from a shard of an Oblivion gate
Increased damage against deadra
25% Resistance to Fire

Sheogorath's Pimp Hat:
Makes every woman you come into contact with follow you until the hat is removed or they die.(Can be randomly reversed to have men follow you)
Maxed disposition with women (can be randomly reversed to men)
Zero disposition for men (can be randomly reversed to women)
Will die if you do not eat yarn, scissors, or cheese every 24 hours

Thane's Drinking Horn : constant, never ending supply of mead. Be warned, the value of this item is far in excess of it's value to an adventurer.

Hjalmar's SkallKlyve (SkullCleaver)
A well-worn sword with alot of damage and a poison.

What's the point of a poison if it is used to cleave skulls?

Simmering arrow/sword/mace etc. - If you kill a creature with it, it's flesh will be instantly cooked.

Doorbasher - A two-handed hammer that can break doors and has a very slow attack rate.

Shield of disbelief - A shield that has a (less than 1%) chance of rendering the wearer invisible.

Bow of plenty - A bow that has a limitless supply of arrows but the arrows are of Oblivionesque quality and the bow has the firing rate of a regular Skyrim bow (it could still be useful with some perks though).

Sunbeam - A sword that deals fire damage and radiates light.

Mace of jumping - A mace that has a chance of making the enemy jump uncontrollable, thus draining his fatigue and making him look silly.

I imagine the poison's meant for those few enemies who would otherwise survive having their skulls good and cleaved. :)

Scissors?
However I have some wepons idea:

Neptune shield: a shield made of water that you can find in a cave under a lake. It's not really powerful itself but when you go in the water it absorb the water and became powerful for a limited time.
Albert's Boots: it's a quest related item. Albert is a man (race imperial) that run randomly trought the map. The quest will start when you see Albert for the first time or someone in a village speak about him. The first time you will see him he will run away very fast saying: "Catch me!". You have to follow him (if you can) and catch him. When you reach him he will be very angry because he wasn't faster than you. After this he will start to fight: it's not an easy battle because he run very fast, but when you kill him you can have his boots. The boots give you the ability to run faster and jump higher than before.

(sorry if i used bad english)

Sheogorath is the deadric prince of madness after all. :P

But why wouldn't it be yarn, petty soul gem, and lettuce, the three offerings to Sheogorath.

Ooh I've got one.

Running Scissors:
A pair of oversized scissors
Strong melee weapon
increases your speed and gives you limitless fatigue
Makes you run constantly - no walking
*BUT
while running, there is a slight chance that you will trip and poke your eye out, causing blindness until you consume a healing potion. The thing is - how do you know what potion you are holding when you are blind, so all potions in your inventory are simply labelled potion, and you just have to hope you pick the right one, and not your "Poison of Instant Death" or "Essence of Lama."

Drink up. :foodndrink:

special dovahkin weapons hidden in dragon lairs throughout skyrim, that (as mentioned by someone else in this thread) alert you when dragons are near and do 100% more damage to dragons. and dragon armor.

OR

unique dragons in dragon lairs that when killed can be looted or leave behind a body part (fang, bone, scale, claw, etc) that can then taken to special crafters to make dovahkin weapons and dragon armor.

i prefer the first one.

Siren's Razor- A serated shortsword with a Blue aura. Does above average damage, but when it's blocked or parried, It unleashes a Hellish Screech That damages everyone in a Radius and stuns the person who Blocked.

Spell Syphon- A Battlemage's longsword that takes on the Characteristic of the Spell in the Opposite hand.

Mana Well- An amulet that allows a Mage to Use Fatigue to cast spells when Their Magicka has run Out.

Stromguard Bolter- A Bow that shoots normal arrows to start with, but as soon as they begin flying through the Air, Turn into bolts of Lightening and Strike with Pinpoint Accuracy.

I'll prolly have more later.
