Unique items from MW?

True, but as I said earlier, it'd be nice to at least hear what became of them. I can't be the only person wondering what actually became of the tools after the events of Morrowind. Even if they don't appear as usable items in game it should at least be explained in a book. The tools were one of the central plot elements of Morrowind, and they've been collecting dust lore-wise ever since.

For all we know, the tools got buried under ash after the eruption of Red Mountain and so on. They have no purpose or use now that the Heart of Lorkhan is destroyed, they really have no reason to have closure.

Maybe the nerevarine had them when he went on his 'expedition to akavir'?

Umbra should be back in all of it's two-handed glory. Oblivion's one-handed version could not even begin to compare.
