It would be rather odd but good idea as long as it does more damage than the crappy sawn-off from fo3

More spread, a lot more damage, very small critical hit % for each pellet, it's CND goes down faster than with a regular double barrel or sawn off.
Balanced?

Fair enough. I just hated it when I was close enough to where I could pretty much punch the guy in the face and the shotgun did no damage what so ever.

I think we all did. I can say that when I saw how crappy the sawn off shotgun was, my dreams of playing as Mad Max were crushed. :sadvaultboy:

They do make a commercial four barreled shotgun though. It's called the FAMARS Rombo.

They do make a commercial four barreled shotgun though. It's called the FAMARS Rombo.

I have seen some impressive shotguns, but by far one of the cool was a shotgun with 2 shotgun barrels (side by side) and a rifle barrel under them.

Well this isn't a unique weapon but rather a new weapon completely, Homing Twin Rocket Launcher.
It fires two rockets which will always be lock on to robots and synthetic humans (or humans with robotic parts in them).
If there are no robotic enemies around the rockets will go haywire and travel in seemingly random directions.
It's damage is very high, no chance for any critical hit, not even sneak attack criticals.
The Homing Twin have a blue colour with some minor teal details.

The third version is the Tri-Rocket Launcher which fires out three rocket which then split into 9 small explosive balls once it reaches it's estimated area.
The balls detonate once they reach the ground.
A mod for this would be to replace the explosion with napalm instead.
Another mod could be to increase it to 12 balls.
The Tri-Rocket is red with some orange and dark yellow around the details of it.

And for a unique, I'd like plated boxing gloves to make a return :angel:

I could see one of these "hay wire" rockets fly off and kill some random NPC in a near-by town. epic fail

I feel sorry for the guy holding that. I do know that punt guns were used by poachers to kill flocks of birds. I have seen pictures of them fastened onto boats for hunting.

Considering how Caesar's Legion is going to play a big role in the game. There should be unique weapons based on Greek and Roman mythology.

Cerberus' Bite - three barreled shotgun.

Zeus - unique plasma rifle that fires lightning bolts.

Gorgon's Gaze - unique laser weapon that paralyzes people if you hit them in the head.

Hercules - unique super sledge with that is very heavy, has a strength requirement of 10, but does massive damage.

Chuck N. : Unique throwing spear, has chance to knock over targets(critical hit not required). Name is both a Chuck Norris reference and a play on the word "chuckin' "
Quarter Existence: Unique melee weapon (most likely a sledgehammer or other tool) with high-swing speed and low AP cost. Guess the reference.
I-Scream Special: Unique shotgun that has a chance of sending enemies fleeing in terror when shot, only accepts non-lethal ammo.
More-tar: Unique missile launcher with a 3-4 shot magazine, shots fire in an arc.
Pain-Thrower: Unique flamer with high damage and a chance to make ignited enemies fall over in pain. Increased fuel consumption.
Johnny: Unique axe/fire axe. Increased damage to non-human targets.(possibly robots only)
Patton:Unique revolver, extra damage and nickel plating.
Todd:Unique razor, chance to insta-kill human opponents on critical hit.
Butch: Unique cleaver, increased damage to limbs.
Highlander: Unique scrap sword, does increased damage for a period after killing an opponent.
Fett's Favorite: Unique laser rifle, sawed-off in appearance, capable of full-auto.
Lewis*: Unique frag mine, sends victim airborne.
Clark*:Unique Trail Carbine, high-accuracy, faster action, increased reload speed.
Boon's Ebut: Unique grenade launcher, high damage, massively increased reload speed. (take out the 's and spell the words backwards)

I want a Rock-it Launcher type shotgun. Basically like an old Blunderbuss, basically find pencils, caps, forks, any clutter around that size and fire it.

Also second the tranquilizer gun but add that you can shoot any chems from it.

If you use a high dose of jet, they go into a 'high' like state and become delirious

To much med-x or super-stims leads to a heartattack.

Buffout and physco leads to roid rage and they attack anyone

Rudis- special scrap or wooden sword given to the player after fighting in the arena(hopefully) All CL factioned NPCs will treat you with respect if you carry it around. also a more liklier bonus multiplyer.

I loved Read Dead Redemption, Maybe we could have a unique Chinese Pistol that was the fully automatic Mauser Pistol?

This was the Selective Fire Version of the C96 Mauser Pistol (Chinese Pistol) I think it looks much better then the old version with a top loader for stripper clips, Plus it has the benefit of full auto/burst fire. :tops:

Base: Anti-Materiel Rifle
Unique: Scourge of the Wasteland
What's unique about it's performance? Extended magazine, bipod for extra accuracy, extreme range, and able to one-shot every NPC in the game. Lastly, the sound is capable of stunning most near-by NPCs and the PC for two or three seconds.
What's unique about it's appearance? Entire rifle is matte black, what can't be painted matte black is coated in an anti-reflective coating.
What balances it? Only one exists so repairs are quite difficult, accuracy when fired from the shoulder is abysmal, cannot be fired from the hip at all due to recoil, and the ammo it uses is rather rare. In order to get an accurate shot you have to be prone, using the bipod, and thusly quite immobile. Even looking behind you takes a moment. The sound can be heard for miles, so anyone who you can hit will hear the shot if you miss, and anyone near the target will hear it regardless. Lastly, the Rate of Fire is very slow, about one round every two or three seconds.


I think it's pretty balanced TBH. No way you'd be able to waltz in the front door firing from the hip with it. The sheer power is balanced out by the fact that you're completely immobile when firing it with any semblance of accuracy.
