Just to clear up a misconception:

Yes mods can crash consoles too just like they can crash PCs, but this will not magically damage the console unless there was a hardware flaw to begin with.

For xbox it is more then possible, in fact, you can do it with xbox version of oblivion and your xbox console, for example, but it would require to do some things that are not concidered legal.

PS3 wold require much different approach. Games are bassicly "ported" to ps3 architecture from xbox/windows ones (if they are made for all of those platforms).

But all in all, I'd enjoy if all consols would be destroyed.

Yeah, i was gonna order a new one last week, but LGA1155 was pulled off the market till march/april. And got thinking about it, I own both a PS3, and a 360, so why spend $1700-2000 on a PC to play this game, when its the only one ill be planning on buying for PC.

Some developers are "sneaking" some Dx10 and Dx11 features into 2011 games. Dragon Age 2 will have that for the PC version, so that might be a good reason to get a somewhat newer, high end video card. There aren't going to be many games any time soon that demand CPUs any more powerful than those that were already available two years ago, unless and until a next generation of consoles is available. Just upgrade a two year old PC instead of getting a new one.

Most of the time I've seen this discussion people have said the performance gain from the faster DDR3 is so negligible that you're better off getting the "slower" RAM (as in slower than 1600) and upgrading it later when the faster RAM drops in price.

Fast DDR3? Expensive?

Is that expensive AND justifies to buy two types of memory, which it is indeed a real waste of money?
