For some reason I thought I placed an aetherium shard in but I could be mistaken. I think there was a dwarven convector nearby and I'm almost positive there wasn't any snow on the ground at said location. Please help.

That was the first place I checked but the interface that I put the cog didn't have the globe type thing on top of the pedestal. Really not sure that it had anything to do with the aetherium quests.
