I wish that the game, immersive as it is, had a bit more flexibility. When the noble members of the Knights of the Nine welcomed my character, Tena the Small, back from her expedition to get the Sword of the Crusader, they were eager to set out for the next quest. They attended chapel and prepared to depart. But Tena wished she could say to them, "Have any of you looked southwest since I left? Does anyone notice a big fiery oval so close we can feel the heat? Does anybody think that before leaving for the west coast we should do something about the Oblivion Gate about 200 yards away from this building?"
But there's no way to do that, and all the knights rode off posthaste, leaving Guess Who to deal with the Gate.
(Tena is considering letting them deal with the Unfeathered One by themselves.)
