Does it really make a difference for who I side with? Either the Scryers or Aldor.

Nop , not anymore anyways.

Secondly i got 2 new pieces in icc 25 for my dk DPS , looking really great at the moment still need a new weapon.

Right now i'm trying to get him tank gear got 5k gs right now as a tank ( i tank yesterday for the first time ) it went great even thought i was losing aggro to players with 6k gs in with pulls.

My Warrior got to lvl 78 this afternoon , going to try to get him to 79 tonight ( going stay up all night so i can see the argentina game ) , i'm gonna make him pve dps and pvp arms.

As a smith, you shouldn't make things for others if they don't have the mats. That doesn't even make sense, because that cost you money.
I require mats, and I charge a minimum crafting fee of 10g. Unless it's a friend, or guildy. But someone in trade LF a smith, yeah, minimum 10g fee for making anything.

Yeah most people tend to do that, it also seems that the normal fee for higher level items tends to be around 100g for ToC items (Itemlevel 245) and 200g for ICC items (ilvl 264). So it's a good way to make money.

Well, I may as well fess up. I've been playing WoW for the first time during the past month after some "gentle" persuasion from some friends. :shocking: Dont see anyone here on my server, but http://us.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thaurissan&cn=Robbio Can I be added to the list please? Character Robbio on Thaurissan.

Anyone got any comments as to how my Pally looks?

Lose the Argent Dawn Commission. Its just taking up the slot where a trinket with good stat boosts can go.

I wanted to wait to make a priest with a RL friend who was possibly going to RaF with me, but one of my good ingame friends and I jumped the gun and made a Belf Pally and Priest team, and we're just hardcoe RDF leveling. He tanks and I heal. Saves us time and effort, except you have to svck it up when you run a dungeon over... and over... and over.... oh, and, OVER!

Lol but its nice, I leveled faster than I would questing, and didn't die except for one stupid incident where I fell into some lava. I suggest RDF leveling to anyone with BoA chests and shoulders just because its enough to get you over the thresholds of each level.

Dungeon I did a million times (really only like 5 or 6 times lol) was RFC, Not bad, but I want to move quick because I HATE WC with a passion. That dungeon is mind-numbingly long and broing, and way too labyrinthine. Plus as a caster not much for gear drops except the bag... which would take like an hour to get lol.

Anyways, as a tank and healer team we get groups within a minute, like every time. Even better during the day. I don't even beat around the bush, I'm speccing straight into Holy, so that I'm potent and mana conserving as a healer. He's going prot too, so we're serious business lol.

But the hard part is dealing with A-holes still. Noobs I can deal with, since I'm not a hater, but mean people just irk me.

Will link my characters eventually.

Yeah, queues with a tank is amazing, I can sign up for an instance at almost any time and get an instant invite.

The AD Commission is fine if you're using it (and hey, you're almost exalted!). I don't know enough about what gear comes from where or what's the best stuff, but since you're a blacksmith, you can make some good gear for yourself if you train up. And SOCKET THAT CHEST! lol

... except you have to svck it up when you run a dungeon over... and over... and over.... oh, and, OVER!

QFT

I don't ever ever ever ever ever ever wanna see purple crystals again :banghead:

Finally did Randoms last night instead of specific dungeons, and tonight I finally found a really great group. It was awesome :D We ended up doing all of Mara, then took a break to repair and empty bags, and ran through ZF. Everyone knew their role and did it well, we pvssyd and got along, nobody acted like a jerk, and everyone leveled at least once and got some great gear.

If only all groups could be like that /sigh

I want to make a class for healing. I want to do either a Restoration Shaman or a Priest. I'll probably solo alot so I'm leaning to the Shaman cause it can probably survive better but the priest will be a better healer. Which would be better?

I was in a dungeon the other day and the healer (a druid) kept attacking with spells and wasting all of his mana then didn't have any to heal us, we all died about 4 times each time telling him not to attack and save his mana for heals I'm not really sure why we let him stay that long before we'd kicked him. And also just as annoying, these 2 gnome rogues keep running in front of me and attacking things when both me and the healer were oom and tole them so. *sigh

Shammies definitely have more survivability, as in, can take a beating. Mail armor helps after level 40 :D but Priests are exceptional healers. I have a level 18 and she doesn't even try. I just pop a bubble or Renew and just kick back, relax, and watch the show. I do do some questing on my priest, and I have to use Power Word: Shield or else I'm screwed. We have no armor spells, like locks, druids, or mages, and can only wear cloth.... so the whole play-style is significantly different from others, and in fights with more than one mob, I'm swearing IRL because its so effing hard to survive those encounters. I might try out Shadow or Disc. later on just for kicks, but Holy is where I'm staying as I posted before.

Also, don't be afraid to use the vote kick tool. some people really effing need to get booted to learn they're lesson. and you'd be surprised that some people who don't say anything and kinda just take the crap, will actually help you get rid of them. No one likes repair bills :/ But I must say if someone is new, and you can recognize it or they say so, don't be afraid to help them out. Explain something to them, or show them, whatever. If you help them, you know that you probably just made a player out of a noob :D

Not bad, although you wanna replace your legs with something else, those Consortium Plated Legguards are good, but only for healing, not DPS, and I see you're ret with a 2 hander. Nice sword btw, I used that on my warrior and my paladin leveling up.
Actually, I see you have a lot of Spell Power gear on. Hmm. Are you trying to heal, or DPS? Because your DPS doesn't gain anything from that spellpower as ret. Strength, crit, agility even, stamina, is what you want as a retribution paladin.

I have a few characters. I don't really raid at all as I don't have time to be a dedicated raider.

I haven't tried priest yet, and only a few levels with a shaman, but one of my guildies just loves playing a priest. Her main is a druid (not sure which), but she decided to be the official healer in our dungeon runs, and worked on her priest. She does a lot of soloing as well, and swears by shadow priest, and from what I gather, holy is more for groups, while shadow is more for soloing. Overall, priest seems to be more if you'll heal more than fight, shaman (or druid or pally) more if you want to fight more than heal. Of the shamans I've seen, they can be pretty durable in fights, but don't usually just stand back and focus on healing like priests do (unless of course they're the healer, so far I haven't seen a noob shaman).

I've noticed there are lots of ret pallys here. How's the tanking? Is it as iffy as people say it is, or is it better to dual-spec prot for tanking? http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Scryers&cn=Drewbus (pretty sure he isn't wearing his helm or chestpiece right now), and tanking last week for our guild's run through BRD was cake -- soloing it was easier than I'd expected too -- but I haven't really run many dungeons until recently, and wanna get into at least the OL instances. I'm leery of choosing tank with him though. I know Slave Pens won't be nearly as easy

You should switch around some of your talents. http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?paladin#999SRn2vNzIs0,aere3,10952 is pretty much the cookie cutter retribution spec, copy it to get the most out of your character :)

I dinged 80 on my unholy DK and have done a few heroics but I'm struggling to get my DPS above 2.5k. Nobody's complained or anything but I feel it should be higher than that. I got the triumph emblem shoulders and a Titansteel Destroyer plus a couple of other epic pieces from the heroics. The rest is still Northrend blues. Trouble is almost everybody else there outgears me by a heck of a lot and most of the stuff is dead before I've got the chance to ramp up my damage.

I got a few alts on the go and I'd like my next level 80 to be a mage, purely for the PvP aspect of it. They're boring to level IMO (frostolt frostbolt frostbolt frostbolt frostbolt X 10000000) but once you get to 64+ things start to pick up a bit.

I also got a gnome warrior with a pink mohawk :D

Actually tyhis always annoyed me a bit, why can't male humans have mohawks? Just a short one that's slightly wider than the Nelf one, how awesome would that be on my human warrior? I'll tell you, very awesome. That seems like a hair option that would make a lot of sense.

Around 200 on both my hunter and pally. The pally though is too goody-goody to put out the Horde fires, but my hunter has joined the fun and peed on smothered the Alliance fires (in fact, in STV, he and a draenei hunter waved at each other as we stole each other's flames). Already got enough to buy the dancing flame, now he just has to do the fire-catching and get another 200 so for the pole dance in Dal to get the title. Not sure it'll happen though, my mouse doesn't cooperate with me when catching torches :brokencomputer:

DK's can be a tricky class, however I found it extremely easy to get above 5k dps in raids. I think the most I've ever done on my DK was in ICC 10, first boss, I hit about 6.5k in really terrible gear. It being my alt, and it only took me about 1 week to gear him up to that point. All he has is badge gear actually, only 1 piece of raiding gear if I remember correctly, from ICC 10 first boss, the 2h sword. Other than that, just heroic after heroic, and pushing 7k dps.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Ysera&cn=Imm?rtal is a link.
His gear is pretty embarrassing but, I find it pretty easy to do decent DPS as Blood.
