Dang Fullmetal Alchemist is getting interesting !
Spoiler
Greed is now fighting against the Homuclie( dang spelled it wrong) with the elric brothers . It seems like the coming day of opening of the gate is soon.

I take it you're watching online then? They've only showed the 2nd episode on [AS].

I know, I just decided to watch it on advlt swim. I like dubs more, and I think only the subbed version is online right? Plus if I'm setting time aside to watch anime, it's to finish off Gundam Wing which I'm still not even halfway through. Still waiting for it to get good...

Ah, I love Gundam Wing. The key to enjoying it above the age of 13 however is to pay attention to the convoluted and dirty political plot, rather than the copy-paste battle scenes. :P

Nope, but have you seen "Black Lagoon: The [censored] Short Version" on youtube? It's so cathartic.

So randomly, i just remembered a T.V. series i used to watch called Medabots, does anybody remember that? (i'm also noticing that all the anime i've watched have been about robots lol.)

Medabots used to be so cool to me. the website even had it so you could make your own medabot and battle against other bots! it was amazing...

It used to be one of my favourite cartoon, until I found out that it's a dubbed anime.

Yea , it's been licensed for a while.

Animax channel is only 1 week behind the Japanese release.

Finished the first season of Spice and Wolf

Has the second season aired in Japan already? And when will it be released in America?

Finished the first season of Spice and Wolf

Best anime about mercantilism evar.

Spoiler
I like when Lawrence purposefully waits for the bell to pretend to yell out Nora's name in order to piss off Holo, only to then say Holo after it and she just blushes
. Good ending.

Yes. If I were to guess as to when it will be released here: fourth quarter 2010 or first half 2011. That would make sense given FUNimation's usual licensing style as of lately

Note: Since Spice and Wolf Season two has not been released outside of East Asia, discussion of it is strictly prohibited per the forum rules

Nora is awesome

The sheep elevated the awesomeness of the series up by at least 1,000,000 points

Spoiler
I was kinda hoping she'd join up with them for the rest of the journey but it looks like they part ways

So could turn into the best mercantilism/harem anime evar!

Of course if that happened it would probably end up being terrible and generic

I should start watching Spice and Wolf. Never finished Natsu no Arashi! but I don't think that's going to happen, haven't watched in awhile. Just not as funny as School Rumble.

Since I like Spice and Wolf so much....

And because it really has nice music...

I decided to check what they have on iTunes hoping I could buy an OST or something to that effect

Sadly they only have the opening song Tabi no Tochuu

Tell me I can get the OST somewhere (actually tell me if it even exists!)

FMA: Brotherhood is getting pretty good. Just finished watching the 4th episode on advlt Swim. Holy [censored], the part where

the Kimera was revealed to be Nina
was creepy as HELL. So much for sleeping tonight...

Did you watch the first series on tv? The story diverges halfway. And yes, true manga story is better than the one that changed storylines.

I watched several episodes of the first series on tv, but I didn't watch the majority of the episodes in the series. I'm hoping to be able to watch Brotherhood without missing as many episodes as I did with the first series.

I didn't remember Scar killing Nina happening so soon in the other series though. I like the way this series did it better though, because I'm pretty sure she just died in some random alley in the other FMA. I mean seriously, why would the military just let a Kimera live on the street?

No, Scar killed her both times. The manga version just felt more smoother since it wasn't compulsive.

I prefer the
Spoiler
Nina chimera/death scene in the original anime.
I find the original is more emotional while the manga has cooler characters and a better story.

I know that, but in the first anime he found her in some random alley and killed her.

Just finished Death Note. Man, is that good or what?
Spoiler
The scene where Light lies on the staircase, slowly dying, was beautiful. Really good animation there.

Finished the first season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I borrowed the DVDs from a friend who recommended it to me, so I had a look. I enjoyed it. I was thinking of buying the DVDs, but there are Special Editions, with the music of Hare Hare Yukai, which I was kind of thinking of getting, but it's rather expensive. Anyone know if you can buy the music separately?

I watched the Gunbuster OVA recently. I really like that old art style, the eyes in particular seem to show more emotion.

Oh and I got teary eyed at the end.... damn you Gainax, that's the third time. :cold:
