I'm pretty new to the anime scene, but I like it so far, I'm just a little... picky. I seem to like series that don't go on FOREVER, have plenty of action, some humor, and I love originality. I recently watched Gurren Lagann, and I'm in the process of watching Darker Than Black (I LOVE it btw). I just can't seem to find the time for it, I also suggest it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Well, from what I've seen, there is pretty much an anime series out there for every need.

And don't worry about shows that don't go on forever. Most anime are only 2 seasons (20-26 or so episodes). Generally, shonen anime are the only ones that go on for more that that.

Anyways, recently finished Gundam 08th MS Team and remembered why I loved it so much. I love the final fight with the ace pilot. It was almost exactly like the fight with the ace in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsUXLzjw7dE Seriously, if you don't have that game, go out and buy it. Its THE best Gundam game, and one of the best mech games.

That does look pretty good. I loved 08th MS Team, it was one of the better Gundam Series I've seen.

I finished up Mobile Suit Gundam a few days ago. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get past the dated animation, but I really enjoyed it. There were a couple characters that seemed completely pointless though. All they did was get introduced and then got killed.
