I cannot wait for Two Worlds 2. Today I picked up Two Worlds (second time I got this game, first one I traded in). Its so clunky its hilarious, it boggles me how they got Microsoft to okay this game for release.

Microsoft to okay the release of a game?

Minecraft is pretty fun. I had enough fun in the free version, just really depends on whether or not you don't mind rebuilding stuff after some asswipe comes in and destroys it.

I don't know if the free version is any different than the $15 one.

I personally liked overlord 1 more, in overlord 2 moral choices are from good and evil to enslave or kill, the mounts really dont add much to the game, and the plot isnt that great, I would reccomend overlord 1. If you like it get 2, a certain area/plot will be more interesting when you play 1 first. I didnt like 2, I disliked it to the point where I was on the last mission and said "[censored]this" and quit. Raising hell is great too.

FF13, FF7, FF9, FF10-2, FF-12 I never finished. I got right upto the end and then stoped playing, for some reason. Just couldnt finish it, I guess because the story was over? Will have to look into Overlord.

I dont understand how Two Worlds was released on a console. I went to play it yesterday after I coped it and it was just so laggy and buggy. Just cant understand how. PC, makes senese, but on a console.

I'm looking for a fishing game that doesn't have an under camera view. I don't find this fair but maybe someone can tell me it's not that bad. I prefer to not have this.

Thanks.

Hows Alpha protocal ? It seems praised by some gtamers, hated by others and the reviews seem to hate it too. Is it worth picking up ?

Storytelling is great, same as the role-playing in the dialogues. The technical aspects are a little clunky and glitchy, for some people what might go wrong is too much. RPG elements in the direct gameplay are somewhat unbalanced, since it's easier and safer to just engage people in close combat when guns and sneaking sometimes don't really work well together with the enemy AI.
Story seems somewhat hastily closed in the end, but it was an enjoyable experience the three times I played it. Kind of like a second banana to Mass Effect.
A twenty buck game for most people.

Hmm I may pick it up then, I liked ME1, and would like another game to have gameplay like that. For £15 you cant really go wrong.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadows.

I have to say this is---different. The graphics are good and the controls are solid and the music is good and Uriel Septim is the narrator (ok it's Patrick Stewart), it can be repetitive and theirs a button press timing mini-game (remember Legends of Dragoon---bingo). I haven't got to far into the game but it could have been a God of War clone (which I dreaded) but thankfully it feels like a Castlevania game---only not so free roaming as you would like it to be, but the levels are big and can be explored until the level ends then---you unlock trials that you can go back and play for better rewards but your just replaying the level with objectives.

How good is Metro 2033? The price still hasn't gone down and I heard it was short.

Ya know, Two Worlds only sold because it promised to be "Oblivion, but with co-op."

How/what is Dwarf Fortress? I hear a lot of you praising it.

Dwarf Fortress is really fun. It has an insane learning curve, though, and I'd recommend getting a sprite pack. Its about trying to keep angry alcoholic dwarfs from strangling eachother to death. Its better than it sounds.

Mafia 2?

Average to be honest. There is a LOT of driving. And I mean a LOT! If you dont like driving games you wont like Mafia 2. Storywise it's alright, if a little uninteresting at times. There are a few decent Godfather-style action sequences but they're largely drowned out by the ridiculous amounts of uninteresting driving you have to do. And it isnt even a particularly interesting sandbox world either. While GTAIV was a sandbox that happened to have a story for the sake of progression, Mafia 2 is a story that just happens to be in a sandbox with very little to do in it.

I really enjoyed Metro 2033. It wasnt particularly long, no, but there was enough action, story and creepiness to keep me going through the whole thing. It felt like something of a linear Fallout/Bioshock mix.

I just got "Section 8". Had anybody played it? I haven't put it in yet and I'm wonder if it's even worth playing.

I bought it during a steam sale, and after playing the first 30 minutes or so, I very much regret it. Admittedly I haven't left the first little town you start off in, but after playing what I did I have absolutely no desire to play it anymore. If I were you I'd just wait for Gothic 4 to come out.

Gothic III has alot of bugs, but that's fixed with the Community Patch. You can grab it from http://www.worldofgothic.com/dl/?go=dlfile&fileid=166

What should I get; Dragon Age or Mass Effect?

That depends. If you like party based rpg's, the go for Dragon Age. If you like shooters, then it's Mass Effect.

Is Viking for the 360 any good? It looks like a pretty fun hack and slash type of game.

If I had to choose, I'd say Mass Effect.

Ugh, google is useless. What kind of DRM does Assassin's Creed 1 use? CD-key? Online activation?

Securom, though not a version with limited activations (I think). I personally picked it up over steam, so no DRM except for Steam itself.

But man do I personally not recommend getting this game at all. I only picked it up to have the "full experience" when I would play AC2 and boy do I wish I had simply started with AC2(which is fantastic) and ignored AC1. Problem for me was that AC1 was ridiculously repetive and bland and had no challenge whatsoever, because starting with the second mission you become for all intents and purposes completely unkillable in straight up combat.

I remember hearing it was fairly mediocre, but don't quote me on that, I might be wrong. I'll second that, I want to know if it's actually any good.

Also, how about Enslaved: Oddysey to the West? I tried the demo and it was pretty fun, and I loved the visuals. I liked the characters and hear the story is great, so any opinions?

EDIT: I just read a review of the game on a norwegian site I trust, and I'm pretty sure I'm buying this game now, it sounds pretty awesome actually. Massive battles with thousands of soldiers, brutal combat and a huge open map are some keywords here.

Okay, thanks. Think I'll wait for whenever I get a PS3 to just rent the game.

I'd play AC1 first regardless. The game isn't that terrible, and the part of the storyline in AC1 that takes place in the modern world is important to the plot.

Plus then you'll be very pleasantly surprised when you play AC2.
