Since a forum search turned up no existing thread, might as well start one.
Under the Castle where you find the Minuteman General's Uniform, you also find a wine bottle labeled "Amontillado Bottle". Directly across the room from this is a broken wall with a skeleton chained up in the space behind it. I think this could safely be called a pointer to "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe. About the only thing missing is the jester's outfit. Poe was stationed at Castle Island in 1827 and supposedly heard a story about a similar incident which had happened about 10 years earlier, becoming the inspiration for the story. "For the love of God, Montresor!"
