There is no evidence whatsoever to support the first paragraph, Autumn isn't trying to lure people in for their destruction, he wants their support and acknowledgment. Enclave was a shadow government back in the Pre-War days, had you read the wiki you would know how the Enclave came to power, and why their claim isn't as invalid as you think.

Been there, read that. They're the dying, last-gasp remnants of the vile shadow government that is most likely responsible for the very existence of the wasteland. Most likely responsible for the very existence of FEV and the Super Mutants. The Dr. Frankenstein to the monster that is the entire Fallout world. And now they're trying to make a comback, to pick up where their shattered dreams of total control left off. They just want to go back to the glory days of secret projects and delusions of world domination at any cost.

Indeed, I agree that there were better ways of taking it over, but like I said, did BoS do anything? Nope. They sat around until Li came clawing at the doors. Enclave took charge, be it for better or for worse. Sure, they have been defeated. (After the events of Fallout 3 the Enclave is no more, either that or they're in hiding somewhere, and restarting like they did in the beginning, perhaps in Navarro).

And the Enclave did no more than the BoS, if not less. Was it the Enclave who patrolled and provided security for the first attempt at Project Purity? No, the BoS did that while the Enclave were trying to amass power to back their violent totalitarian takeover attempts.

And of course they're in hiding somewhere...that's what they do, repeatedly, when their plans blow up in their face. What they did after the Great War, what they did after the Chosen One nearly wiped them out, and now what they're doing after the Lone Wanderer put'em in their place (hiding and licking their wounds) again. Just like herpes, they'll be back- as ineffectual as ever.

all elections current/future are moot until such emergancy is resolved. beit 2 or 200 years.

The Outcasts are doing nothing but collecting old trash technology, things that Enclave have latest editions of. Plasma Weaponry,Advanced Mk II Armor, Vertibirds, Orbital Laser Beams, Raven Rock.. Technically, the USA is still under martial law, so the Enclave, being the US goverment, is still in power. You see, when martial law is in effect, that person or group stays in power until martial law is called down. Until your wastelanders agree to unfiy and elect someone, the Enclave will still be in power.

If you deny the Enclave, you deny America and its goverment. Since the country is still under martial law, the Enclave is still in power.

Ahh, good to see the Enclave fanclub return..

You know, back in mid-2009 I started a similar thread chain, called Unofficial Enclave Fanclub. It started as a way of uniting the few Enclave supporters here in BGSF (there really were only like 5 of us back then). It turned out to be a 20-odd threads large chain, and brought dozens to the loving guidance of the Enclave :nod:
Unfortunately it was closed by moderators after every small and silly faction started getting their own fanclubs.. My favorite was BoS fanclubs, since they(!) never lasted more than two pages while we got a new thread almost daily. (Although we got a bit spammy towards the end)

Alright, I don't accept flaming by Enclave Supporters to others, what makes you think Im going to accept the converse? Lay off on the stream of insults, please, I don't want things getting out of hand, people might take things to heart, and I have a record for making topics that get locked, and have been warned for it. Mods probably keep an extra eye out, so understand that I need to extinguish any bit of flame-bait possible.

Anyway.. what has the Enclave done? Have you seen Raven Rock? It's absolutely pimpin'. As for having nothing more than military installations and not settlements, first off, it's the government. The Capitol Building wasn't just a fancy Holiday Inn. It's not their job to make that kinda stuff, not yet atleast. Military installations are their prime concern right now. Why would they build settlements? For who, the impure which are gonna get wiped out anyway? If Autumn had his way, he probably would have made a settlement or two, but under Eden's rule, everything they do makes sense.
