Pretty good info bunched into a couple of minutes in this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKGj9ygWwXw

Some more explanation of the FOV slider, FP options and more info coming to this weekends beta

One thing I took away from this video was that map of Craglorn (http://tamrieljournal.com/craglorn-adventure-zone-eso/), I counted 13 dungeon torches and there are a crap ton of other icons too

The Elder Scrolls games did it this way so ESO should is not always the best argument, for a humorous string of examples try watching all 11 videos of this great parody series: (Language warning on the videos.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tuXKqjHSSU&list=PLLoWhJJEjzXl0jfiQjuVuJkVe0gGpYstU

While we all want to keep this very much feeling like an ES game and Skyrim is most oft quoted, Skyrim did ALOT of things strangely or badly despite being a great game overall.

Those videos were hilarious! thanks for the link. As for your first statement i agree i think too many people were expecting Skyrim Online and were upset when they figured out that this isn't.

The only thing I really wanted from Skyrim was the race aesthetics and real time combat with blocking, shield bashing, the now infamous "Bioshock" set up where you can have one spell or one weapon in each hand at a time only. Some of that is in ESO so I am happy. We still have silly insta hotbar skills but it isn't as obnoxious as other MMOs.

I would have preferred to make our characters from scratch including what skills we wanted to focus on but in MMO PVP I can understand the need for a class system.

I would have loved to see stuff from mods like iNeeds, Frostfall, Wet and Cold etc. but that might be asking for too much. It would be nice of Zenimax would allow certain mods that wouldn't impact game balance such as the aforementioned ones that simply add wet/snow shaders, hunger/thirst/sleep and environmental damage. I don't see how either of those would affect a PVP battle since its easy to simply have it auto disable during PVP combat. I have to keep my expectations in check and remember that this is an MMO and MMOs are very limited in many respects even today.

Lol, Orangina ads have been around for a good long time now. Most of them are a bit on the weird side, but it's amazing how prudish america is compared to the rest of the world. Play this kind of thing on public tv in the states and there would be riots and hate crimes.
