I like playing Khajiit in Elder Scrolls games. The only issue I am currently having is that they are supporters of the Thalmor now. So I just roleplay a Khajiit character that supports the empire intead. I can't wait to see what the future of Elsweyr is.

Fun little non-game breaking tip.

Night Eye is an ablitiy that can be used unlimited amount of times, for those who just want to keep the abliity "on" just turn your brightness setting all of the way up. You can see everything in the dark, it like a premament effect now. I can understand why the Devs don't just do that from the start...Looking in the sun can be painful sometimes.

Anyway I feel Khajiit should have a bonus little boost. Like detect life added on to night eye. :/ They got the most useless lesser power and no greater power unless you count the passive claws which only good for brawls.

Wow, Khajiits are getting a lot of love lately. I remember when I started playing Morrowind back in 2002 and my first character was a khajiit. Back then Khajiits were merely a fringe-race, and certainly not one of the popular races. Today I feel like I'm seeing Khajiit fans all over the forums, and it's warming my khajiit-loving heart.

I just love how Bethesda is handling the beast-races, keeping them shrouded in mystery (especially argonians), and giving small nuggets of information in each game-installment. Every time I find that nugget of information, I am all over the place.

Perhaps we bide our time, so we may scratch their backs? Vur'Kha does not support the elf overlords, and scratches their backs much. Mostly with daggers.

On Skyrim I met a Khajiit near Solitude who only care about selling his goods and a Khajiit in the Collage of Winterhold seem like he learning magic just for the loot that come with it though it seem that he serious enough to make a few scrolls.

Also being part of the Dark Brotherhood I have met an unlucky Khajiit who seem like he is used to getting into trouble.

It seem like no matter where they are, they either the scum of Skyrim or the slaves of Morrowind. I really hoping the name of the next game will be Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr

Yeah. Khajiit are seen as a lesser race for some reason especially in skyrim. The khajiit caravans are a good example.

I think it would be great to see the next TES game set in Elsweyr.

They have been treated very poorly by the other races, but so has the Argonians and the Orcs. To me, this just shows a lack of knowledge by the other races, as well as an unwillingness to understand.

On the bright side, Khajiits might be in store for a huge upswing. It has been debated on the forums that the Khajiit represent a Tower in their own right, with the Mane as their stone. In other words, the khajiit might be metaphysically very important to Nirn and Mundus. In fact, i think a lot of things are pointing for the next Elder Scrolls game to be set in Elsweyr. I think it's going be either Elsweyr or Alinor.

I always personally play as a kind Khajiit who want to do everyone favors regradless how bad they may end up. (A little excuse for myself to join the Brotherhood and such)

But to me every Khajiit seem to either be a natural theif (which make sense though I wish they use their skills for good) or just a scumbag and/or trader. I really hope that just a bad stereotype that is being made over the years and not a racial thing.

On the topic of Khajiit I was always disapointed at lack of effort put forth into modeling their hands for first person. I was really hoping with skyrim that the hands would have some nice claw modeling and such. I love playing the game in first person, so little touches like this really add up.. I remember playing a small open skill system mmo by the name of Darkfall. They did a really nice job on modeling their wolf races hands.. Gave them a really cool beastile look, with unique claws and touches.

Hopefully a mod will improve upon this at some point for skyrim but yay for a thread about khajiits. Lets hope Bethesda gives them a bit more attention and love in future titles and works. They need a bit extra love.

Speaking of which, I was shock to see that Oblivion downgraded from Morrowind. Khajiit punching and not clawing? I am happy that at least they fix that on Skyrim. I agree they could do better but I am somewhat happy with our current outcome, it could have been much worst.

I like Khajiit as my second favourite race. I have a character I named as Ra'ja.

I think the new Khajiits look ace. I'd prefer a bit more tiger in them. I made my Khajiit as more orange closer to a Bengal tiger.

I certainly think Beth' has left them out a little. There isn't even a Khajiit to choose as an partner in marriage. I'm hardly going to marry my Khajiit to a human, elf or argonian. That to me would just look daft.

The thing I hate the most is the Khajiit not having their own racial armor. I don't feel as anything on offer suits them. I personally would like to see an armor more along the lines of what the famous and deadly Rajput warriors from the desert lands of NW India wore. That would certainly suit them and give them a more sense of identity.

I would say that Khajiit and Orcs are my favorite 2 races. I always love play as the "underdog", and both races are. Khajiit have indeed come a long way the past few games. But, they still fall short compared to the man and mer races. Hopefully the next game is indeed Elsweyr, and the Khajiit can get a game to shine.

I hope that the next game is set primarily in Elsweyr + Valenwood (I think that's the one neighburing it, I don't really mind, I just think Elsweyr is a slittle small for its own game) Khajjit culture isn't explored much in past games, so finding out about their legends would be interesting.

Wulf has no words for you, Khajiit.

Haha, just kidding. I've always liked the Khajiit, especially since Redguard, because well, they were basically just felinoid tatooed elves in the early Elder Scrolls 1 +2. Ever since S'Rathra in Redguard, because of the way he looked (more cat-like) and spoke (very much like the Khajiit do in the last 3 TES titles) I've been fascinated by their race. In a big way, I've always thought of S'Rathra like the first forerunner/forefather to the current design of the Khajiit race.

I have only seriously played one Khajiit char, and that was in Morrowind, but I love the way they look in Skyrim and would like to play one again. I don't think I'd become Dovahkiin as a Khajiit, though. It just wouldn't feel right to me. I'd take advantage of the Khajiit's natural abilities to go the stealth route but stay away from the main quest, and probably do the Thieves guild with that character.

I also agree that as a Khajiit you should be able to choose a Khajiit mate. The excuse for this can't be that Khajiit don't mate for life because that would contradict the Ahnassi quest from Morrowind. That quest shows that Khajiit take their "life-mate" bond at least as seriously as humans take marriage.

Anyways, happy hunting and "May you walk on warm sands..."

Can all Khajiit breed with all other Khajiit? I would imagine that would be uncomfortable for some pairs. Also, what is the relation between Khajiit and elves and how did they end up how they are now?

Yeah alot of people seem to like the khajiit now i only have like two problems with them, why did they take out their dremoralize spell and give it to the nords and how come i always see dead khajiit every where wether its a caravan or a random khajiit, according to lore khajiit are fearsome and fantastic warriors y are they portrayed as weaklings in skyrim

They beat them in not just one war, but in two. Back to back, even! :-)

What is a dragon but just a very big cat?
But no, I understand where you're coming from. They are my favored race but I couldn't play them in Oblivion for the same reason. Also, their character models just looked doofy in that game.

I've always liked cats, and I always play as a thief so naturally khajiits have been my race of choice. Also how they have always been underdogs/lower class in the games just made connection even stronger.

I'm currently playing as Coal, a khajiit thief who's working at Mixwater Mill. This is my first character who is not combat orientated at all. In fact, he is trying to avoid all the combat since he most likely would not survive a single blow. Currently he is trying to make a living by chopping wood for Gilfre and by picking pockets in Windhelm and Whiterun. All the gained money goes to food, education (speechcraft) and for the Mill's renovation.

The current ''official'' story is that Azura transformed them out of Bosmeri stock, but personally I think there's more to it. They have a very shrouded lore and I think that they, alongside the Argonians, have a far more complex lore than what we currently know.

Ah, J'rahzir welcomes such a warm topic. J'rahzir welcomes the comment of Thalmor as well. J'rahzir does not trust Thalmor, for J'rahzir has heard tales from his father and his father's father and so furth of the Elf type. The Dunmer creatures are cruel and enslaved Khajiit kind. J'rahzir found himself standing with blue upon his chest after he learned of a certain part of the white sand city of Windhelm. J'rahzir shall serve by the side of the Tall Hairy One for the oppression of the Dunmer, the Argonian, and the fight against the Thalmor who also bear the Elf name.
