No, there's not going to be any multiplayer.

I think I heard somewhere there will be three difficulty levels. Not sure where, though.

Awww... Could be better with a free roam like GTA.

I pretty much raged when I saw the scores are equal.

At least they didn't compare it to GTA in the review, though I have a feeling it was on the editor's mind. 7.0 is abysmal for a site that hardly ever gives anything below an 8.5 though.

GTA IV gets 100s across the board and I can see Mafia end up sitting on a 70 average. What a shame.

I don't really care about PvP MP, but wouldn't you guys agree that it would be amazing if you could play co-op with 2-4 people? The game will still be amazing regardless of MP or co-op, but still. They should consider that for DLC or Mafia 3(if there is one)

Well, I mainly meant co-op for goofing off, considering the fact that there's not much to do.

Pretty awesome game, albeit short. Just started 4th chapter, kinda roleplayable in a way. The music is pretty good, especially the Christmas music.

So just got done a 7.5 hour session.I have to say its a really good game.It doesn't feel like your typical mobster or criminal.A nice mixture of missions and the game as a whole feels more realistic. The Wanted system takes a bit of getting use to.You can expect to speed around town slamming into cars and running down innocent civilians and just speed off with no consequence.

I didn't get one, pre-ordered a week before launch and paid in full that day.

P.S

Game is AWESOME SAUCE! Hope FO:NV is this good over all.

i can't believe people where saying there was noting to do besides missions.

I been stealing cars and crushing them for money, like 400+ a car. I robbed a few gas stations and The missions up to chapter 6 (chapter 6 is really kind of cool) have been really good. Real low level mafia type stuff.

There was already a few small plot twists against some of the characters already!

This is going to be great! :celebrate:
I can see my self playing it over again on a hard and not normal after I beat it.

Now all you need is a GTX 285 for PhysX and you meet the recommended specs! :P

It makes me sad inside that the fastest single-GPU card from a little over a year ago is now a recommendation for just PhysX. Ah well, it still gives me playable FPS with PhysX on Medium, and I've been thinking about grabbing a GTS 250 for dedicated PhysX.

Though, I still have to by the full game first..

What exactly is the difference with PhysX? Cloth and everything still has physics without it.

Better particle effects, destructible environments are more detailed and things like clothing are more fluid and dynamic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik-me8RWEWc, the effects are really nice looking even on medium. It honestly does take something along the lines of a GTX 480 w/ 285 PhysX for decent FPS at a high resolution and PhysX on high. A big hit is clothing though. A lot of folks disable cloth PhysX for every NPC, leaving only Vito with dynamic clothing and about a 15-30 FPS boost.

Wow, that looks very nice. Seems like it could give you an edge in combat.
