TeeHee:3 Try joining again, we're no where near the player cap

Secondly there are major server problems now, and I can't say I have the slightest idea of the cause; Minecraft is crashing in a recurring fashion, where either you disconnect and reconnect or java crashes on your computer and you spend 2 minutes waiting for windows to end the program. I don't have the slightest clue what the reason it, is started very suddenly earlier today, and I don't have any plans regarding how to fix it. It has lived through restarts and various changes to the server config. Next thing I'll do is re-install java. The same thing is, on the server side of things, nothing is acting up - this is completely weird.

To be honest I've been experiencing some pretty bad lag in the server, I made an iron door, planted it, and it wouldn't open and then just disappeared.... lost 2 doors.... and it takes 5+ seconds for my message to show up on screen after I press enter.

You know, I've had absolutely no luck installing doors. Can't seem to get it to happen. Where specificially do you click to install your doors?

You can only open iron doors with some sort of mechanism.

On the ground.

Also metal doors only open if you use a pressure plate or a button. I put a pressure plate in front of and behind the metal door for it to open.

Okay - server is down again. For all those experiencing Lag this is extremely unusual. The server has been in a very bad state today, and I don't have a clue why. I'm going to start troubleshooting, if I find a fix the server will be up again tonight, if not, it won't. For people who just joined today to try it out that lag/disconnection problems are not normal, and the server has been running fine for the prior days (and earlier today). Now to begin troubleshooting - how arduous!

Link to where? You have to join the hamachi server and then use the hamachi IP.... there is no link.

I'll be on in like an hour if anyone wants to go on the server (if it's up, that is).

I knew digging down in this new region was a good idea. One second I'm digging, then BAM, I fell into a cavern.

I'm loving this game. I spawned in a word with a magma waterfall in plain view and made it my base. I have my base on a overhang with a glass floor and i can see the magma waterfall below me. I am made a waterslide that carries me deep underground quickly. I also hit bedrock for the first time which was cool.

Ok so I sent out a request to join the network. I'll probably only be able to play on the server on the weekends since I get home pretty late.

Also I'm trying to craft a torch, pretty simple, I put 1 coal on top of 1 stick. But it just doesn't want to craft it. What's up with that?

I struck diamond and redstone for the first time today, and unearthed my first dungeon.

Most likely you are using flint, not coal.

That's what I thought.

AWESOME! I just found out that the new update allows you to cook stuff in your furnace with a bucket of lava! haven't tried it yet though.

You'd have to flood the map then..... :hubbahubba:
