The waterfall + the castle looks amazing, how long did it take you to build that? :)

Started my new singleplayer today, I will post some pics when I actually build something :P

The waterfall has been a little tricky, I've had to dig away a large portion of the wall. Then set up the actual waterfall with dirt and glass. The end result is the top water layer is lacking flow while the water below clashes down towards the watery basin. The castle is actually still under construction. What you see there is only the superficial shell. More than two full, large chests of rock has gone into that project already. I still also have the two basemant floors to carve out. And the whole mountain fortress is a bit larger than what you see as well. I can't explain in words how excruciating it was to carve out the treefarm. Must've spent hours on that thing.

Nope. I really suggest you buy the game, it's just 10 euros. IMO the demo is nothing like the game.

I'm too young to legally own a credit card, so even though I would buy it if I could, I cannae.

Your castle makes my 'castle' look like a hut.

I'll still post some pictures soon. Or maybe take a short video.

EDIT: Well I bought the game using my mother's Visa because I cba to make a Visa.

I bought it with a debit card. You go through the credit card menu, but the debit options were available too.

You've got an indoor tree farm? I need to steal that idea.

Get a checking account.

Really, your best bet is to find someone with a credit/debit card, and pay them cash so you can use their card to order the game.

Pretty much any current account should come with a debit card. But yeah, your best bet right now is to borrow a parent's card.

I've been having some fun screwing around today. I create a new map, use INVedit to give myself a diamond pick and shovel, then unlimited TNT, Redbrick and a button. All you have to do then is pick a spot and dig down until you can't go any further. If you bump into any caves on the way down fill as much of them as you can with the TNT then continue with digging. Once you've hit bottom jump back up whilst placing TNT beneath you all the way. When back on the surface, make a line of redbrick to take you to a safe distance, place the button and blow the bugger up. Creates a hell of an explosion, opens up a whole lot of caves to explore, and the crater looks generally awesome.

Just go to walmart or a gas station and ask if they have any prepaid mastercards. Put 15$ on it, then use it :P Its the easiest way to buy things online without and credit/debit card.

I was out exploring, wen I lost track of time, so when night fell I jumped into a tree. I'm now surrounded by 5 spiders, two skeletons and three zombies. I did build myself a nice tree fort in the leaves though.

We should really get a resource train going on the server. I lack the patience or skill to make a good castle, but I love mining and digging. If we could get enough iron to make a long track plus a storage and powered minecart, I can do a bunch of mining and send the resources to the talented people :P

Server is now down - I can confirm saves are working. I'll restart it quite soon, I just want to test to see if a few things crash it etc. Please don't jump into the server until further notification.

Can we please make a public server or something? Hamachi doesn't work for me, the "Join an existing network" is grayed out, and I'd love to play with you guys.

Yeah, I'd been thinking about building tracks for minecarts too. Since I was planning on having my bridge connecting up with everyone else's base, I quite like the idea of having tracks suspended underneath the bridge, and Saurok's tunnel network can service the underground.

I have a fair bit of iron ore on me that I just didn't want to risk smelting, so I can process that. Wood I need to get a crap load of refunds anyway from an insurance scam after I screwed up my fort and bridge.

If I could choose, I would love to be the one that supplies sand and clay. I love underground bases

Is there anyway to build a water trap? I mean like say I have an underwater base. The tunnel into the base has water right above it with maybe 2 layers of sand. Would it be possible to make some sort of trap door on the ceiling of the tunnel that opens when someone steps on a pressure plate so they drown? I know pressure plates exist but I have no idea what I could use to make the trap ceiling tile, or how to reset it.

Damn! The green guy who explodes suddenly appeared in my basemant (really really deep down). He'll explode, how do I make him explode at a distance? I just need to mine the ore and get out of there.
