Server back up - can't say I know what the problem is but It's somewhat fixed.

i may have to cut back on playing minecraft... whenever i go to bed i begin to imagine that my blankets are blocks stacked around me

Anybody else getting a "critical error:null 5" when they try to boot up the game?

Redownload the .exe file from minecraft.net. That'll fix that problem, did for me at least.

I am the Walrus! is banned from the server permanently for repeated ignorance and blatant disregard of the rules and laws, for using abusive language to multiple members and for deliberately destroying hours worth of work for petty personal gratification. I'm sure Wampbit will see fit not to overrule this.

I most certainly shall not over-rule this decision. I would like to make it clear that there is a difference between RP based reasonable attacks on property and griefing; the later shall not be tolerated and, without any ambiguity, is the category Walrus' behavior fell in. Furthermore there is a quite blatant rule against fire - I have stated it in the last incarnation of the server as well as this one - 1. fire spread A LOT 2. it crashes the server seriously and was the cause of the save errors we had before.

I will not hesitate to ban persons that could cause serious disruption to the server and the entertainment of those within.

And on that slightly sour note: Server restarted.

The server is so laggy it's unplayable. the map wont load more than 10 blocks ahead of you and you can't mine or place blocks.

I tried to circumvent my island yesterday. BIIIG mistake. And I didn't bring a Compass. Took me hours to find my way back
