Server is rolled back and is online, although it seems that those that try to connect are getting d/c'd, not sure why, try again a few times and see if it works after a bit.

As a second point, I don't really support what you suggest tesfanner; as a starting point it wouldn't prevent the griefing from happening - if someone wants to play we can't deny them access on a baseless suspicion that they may grief, and once they have griefed it's not very difficult for me to stop them entering the server again, it just requires me to wake up and check the logs for their IP. I think we should keep it nice and accessible; especially considering people have the be approved to play on the server anyway, and thus can be freely and permanently removed.

[edit]: there seems to be some sort of Hamachi problem; try and restart hamachi on your sides, and I'll play around with it here.

Currency is a bit redundant right now in the stage this game is at. If we needed armour, weapons etc we could have an economy going. I started yesterday and I've got the equivalent of 100 gold pieces, however there's nothing I could do with it.

Out of curiosity, I know there is a limit to how tall a building in town can be. Is there a limit to how far down it can go?
I'm thinking massive underground complex, I suppose it'd be frowned upon if I accidentally dug into someone's basemant...

the floor limit dpends on how much you paid... I think they're removing the height limits when they open up the extention though...

Height limits are remaining, the extension will just have expensive building that are allowed to be high

Wamp and Undone are the city caretakers. You have to pay them.

If I join this server do I HAVE to be a part of the city?

You don't HAVE to be. You could be an outlaw. You need a city permit to build outside of the city. Also, if you are an outlaw remember that anyhting in the wilderness is fair game other than major griefing.

If you do build outside the city, hide your home well. Bandit hunters will find it, trash it, and take anything of worth inside.

I think the server's bugged. Everything in the distance is space unless I toggle 'F' which changes the view distance, however if I walk into this space I fall down and then I'm able to see the cross section of our map. I saw how far down the lava is.

Its a memory leak. Wamp is gonna reset after he eats. Steak that is. Yummy steak.

Someone send me a message on Hamachi once the server's reset and I'll come on the server. Shan't be terribly active though - got to knock together some food and assemble some Ikea stuff.

I just got finished building http://i52.tinypic.com/357io1u.jpg, a massive skeleton made entirely out of cloth blocks. I must've punched hundreds of sheep to get enough cloth for it.

You should add a sign at the bottom saying "No sheep were seriously harmed in the making of this statue" :hehe:


My levelling of the mountains is making progress. I had a major setback when I was down in my mines and I discovered some lava. Unfortunately, I was digging directly in front of me and was distracted by TV so I didn't see the lava before it came out of the hole. I lost all my iron (literally all of it, I had like 46 blocks of it, and I for some reason brought it with me), as well as all my iron tools, my buckets, my compass, about 100 torches, and my dignity. My misfortune was, however, overcome when I struck my first diamond deposit (three blocks). Having no iron tools to recover it, I proceeded to tear apart my mines looking for iron. While doing that, I discovered MORE diamond (4 blocks). So now I have 1 Diamond pickaxe, 1 diamond shovel, and 3 leftover diamond pieces for extras.

I am now going to start a huge dig in those areas, to see if I will get lucky and find more diamond. Must. Have. More.
