You guys think I could help build the Spleef arena also? I want to do something to contribute to the city. :P

Well I nearly finished it now! (I worked on it all day). However there are a lot of other things we could build (and I'd gladly help!).

I mined down to bedrock, somehow dug straight through the earth (through all bedrock layers, but without actually hitting bedrock) and fell into some kind of blue void, losing everything I had.

...Is this a regular sort of occurrence?

I was trying to search for an in-game game like the spleef arena. Or maybe we could come up with something ourselves.

We have something AWESOME planned, but we need the following or else it wouldn't work:

Damage
Redstone Circuits fixed in MP for traps and stuff
Buckets to be fixed

Those features should be added eventually.

I still need to learn how to use redstone though.

No, you have to wait until the page is back up to purchase it.

I have mined a mountain to nothing. And build a wall around my main mountain. The scale is truly something to behold and it took many many days of work in real life. It also goes to the bottom of the map and hits the sky limit because of the immense tower. Outside I have several rivers (within the walls) and a farm for wheat and a half dozen trees scattered around. One of which almost hits the sky box as well. On floor 3 of like... 50 lol I have a 5 cubes high roof with gigantic Moria pillars adorned with torches. The main gate is triple reinforced and is 3 cobblestones thick on each side and it is a long tunnel composed of 3 steel doors operated by switches. I tested a creeper on it when it was only half the size and it only took a single floor tile from inside. Suffice to say it is immensely durable and nigh indestructable.

Outside the walls I have begun to create a Fanghorn forest so thick I can walk down and stab hapless livestock caught in the brambles. Almost no sunlight penetrates the canopy. Heading off along the coast I have a series of smaller towers alight with torches so I may have a pathway home, and after I finish the forest I am going to make an underground dock for boats. All done painstakingly by hand.

Edit
The great wall is almost as tall as the mountain itself. No Creeper has yet to breach the walls.

Its uncommon but is well know. That's why rule #1 in minecraft is to never dig the block you are standing on.

To clarify, Wampbit has sent me the server files. All going well, it should be up and running when I get back from uni in 6-8 hours.

Congratulation on your first trip out into the Ether. And yes, it happens but if you're careful it won't as often. The bottom Adminium layer is 95% solid but is riddled with holes for people to fall into the Ether. And Notch made it do you died when you fell into it since you'd just fall, fall and fall some more then some for all eternity, thus making your save useless. So just be careful and it'll be fine

Well if we like it and it works we're hoping for some dedicated donors (or those that can when they can) in order to keep the server. I've already told Wamp that I can dedicate $10 a month for it if we decide to keep it.

Also, that trailer was epic. Wamp showed it to me the other day.

Ahh, so you are in charge.

Can I be invited to this? what do I need to do?

P.S

Alright, server should be up and running. Use my Hamachi IP to join. If you're not on the first network, I've set up BGSF minecraft #4 with password "creeper!".
