Who the hell takes the time to get fourteen dollars for a game, find a way to pay for it through Paypal, then go and research some server addresses... just for the purpose of doing crap like this? Don't these people have... friends.. or something?

... Then again, they probably go around setting there friends houses on fire if they get the address.

Why don't you make it so only admin approved people can warp? make it so the spawn area can't be exited without warping and then only admin approved people can play. I play on a really well controlled server. Nice admins, friendly players, lag free... the problem is it's not online long enough each day. I've been waiting all day to play and finally got to just now only for it to crash not long after...

Last I checked, yes. (this morning)

Also, good idea Ragnalin. Make the spawn point encased in adminium. Although this still can be bypassed, but regular griefers won't be able to do anything.

I tried this. It just spawns you above the prison though. Maybe a bigger prison would work.

I think MCAdmin lets you control user permissions if you need to. I think build/destroy rights are in there too.

MCAdmin looks nice but it does break some things, we are also using mods that are not listed in its compatibility. Maybe Wamp will check it out.

Wamp got the port changed to 2222. I never added the port to the IP when I logged in anyway, so I'm not sure what difference it would make. But I too am stuck out the game.

Alright, server is down for a little bit. Wamp also mentioned to them about a few mods that weren't working (the minimap and chat), so they might be trying to fix that serverside. Should be up in ~5 mins.

Our admins have the power to make stuff indestructable for everyone but one player which is a good idea for the spawn. All diamond blocks (9 diamond ore smelted I mean) are only mineable by the admins which is also quite handy if you wanna make a trap. I have never seen a griefer in our server. They go round checking everyone isn't having problems and such.

just make a 3x3 grid surrounded with industructable fences, problem solved.

We also just lost about 6 hours on our save.

EDIT: False alarm, it just put me on spawn... where i was when i started this morning.
