If they were hiding behind a fake wall, surely you could see their name through the wall? I don't see how someone could just hide from you whilst griefing on such a large scale.... Or were you offline?

The chests were hidden behind the wall, not the person.

if Hio feels bad about it, he can go ahead and TNT Fort Greywood to get even.

If there are still fires when I get on, ill put them out.

Or we just cut out all the griefing altogether.

This.

More griefing isn't going to help anything. No one should have griefed in the first place, whether they had permission to or not.

Honestly, less than a day after we get fire back.... <_<

And anyone who stands still for a period of time shall be encased in cobblestone!

Btw, Terpy is my cousin. I can vouch for him. Already told BM.

So I finally build my first portal, get some lava, return and... the game creates a new portal. Waaaay underground. In an unexplored cave next to still lava.
And my pick broke ten blocks into digging my way to the surface <_<

Looks like its gunna be a long dig up! :P.

Still haven't had time to check out the update and the biomes etc. Hopefully I can finish all this damned homework up soon and play for an hour or two :).

I don't think spending untold hours digging my way up would've enhanced my experience much :P
The cave actually turned out to be beneat the ocean. I deactivated it and I'm hoping the next one ends up in a more fortunate location. A gate in the nether is linked to the gate it creates, right?

I'd like to know who destroyed Robbio's work, because the same thing happened to Saurok. Well actually all his hidden stuff was stolen, and it was TOO hidden for anyone to just stumble upon it. I can't believe one of us is doing this, considering [incoming stupid phrase] how tight we roll. At least that's the impression I get from the chats. Shame on you whoever you are.

It's probably Hiomaste, it's him 80% of the time.

Hiomaste has resigned due to unnecessary speculation naming him as the culprit. He told me he wasn't even on at all during the time Rob's tower was destroyed. I will still be checking the server logs in the morning after work and get to the bottom of this.

If Hio wants to come back and keep playing I'm fine with that. I'm over it now. Grief happens, and I was unlucky enough for it to happen to me. I've cooled down since last night when I was peeved about it.

I'll rebuild and move on, it was just that I lost all my tools and stocks I'd been building up that annoyed me (as well as the glass around the tower)

Since you have to post here to get the server IP anyways, why not add a whitelist so people can't share the IP? Even if this was an inside job, it could prevent future griefing from outside sources.

It's a shame some people try their hardest to ruin the game for others.

Actually, Robbio, what you have described sounds to me more like a glitch that has happened a couple times.

I remember when I was working on a Fort in SP, half of it suddenly went missing, and I know it wasn't Creepers that took it. And then I recal someone saying that a wall or tower they had suddenly disappeared within a minute.

Hope you can replace that bit of Mordor.

A glitch that removes a section of tower as well as all of the glass and about 40% of the torches from the area around where that section used to be? Thats a hell of a glitch.

BoneMonster is planning on getting materials together to get Angamar township status. I have started work on the road system, and soon a highway to Angamar made of only hell cobblestone and lit with FIRE!
