Ok Ladies, I've found me the best world yet. Took me around 20 new world creations to get to it. It's got a lot of mountainous regions.

I have just uncovered the most massive cavern system I have ever seen. Seriously. I've gotten lost in it. I had to /home back.

I broke into it on a low point, and I followed it to the point of coal/iron only. It's.... just mammoth.

I entered with 0 diamonds. I left with 13 (my first).

Haha, sounds like what happened to me last night. Started digging down to gather materials and found a cave system that I got lost in. I had to make a lot of torches but managed to find a decent amount of gold, a lot of iron, and 7 diamonds before I decided to try to find my way back up. I couldn't find the way I came in so I randomly began to dig stairs up and managed to pop up right behind my new base. :laugh:

I couldn't /home because it would send me to the spawn and I don't know the exact direction or distance to my new base from there (not that I want to know right now). When I finish my project i'll wander back to the spawn to give proper directions.

So I decided to play some SP... all night long... the first SP I've played since we got the dedicated server.

I started a new world and eventually I found some obsidian and I decided to create a portal. It took me about 10 minutes to decide whether or not I was going to go in.

I came prepared. I read on our thread somewhere that Ghasts can't destroy cobblestone, so I came with 2 stacks and built a safe area around my portal. Whenever I find some iron I'll create some iron doors just in case a Ghast decides to hover in front of my portal tunnel.

IF one manages to kill a ghast, what do they drop?

They dropped nothing for me.

I killed a ghast that just happened to decide to hover in front on my tunnel just when I find some iron to make some doors. I killed it and it dropped gunpowder. So ghasts drop gunpowder.

Mine dropped nothing! Unless it fell into the lava or something.

Oh and those "baby noises" are the ghasts. the squealing baby noise are the Pigmen.

This is pretty messed up. I'm not getting very much lag, but new areas won't load. I'm currently stuck in Torhemn and the closest surroundings because all other areas refuse to load.

Somehow I can still see your character despite the fact that you left the server. I don't know exactly how that happened, but I'm hoping it'll stick around even when you rejoin the server. :laugh:

Ghasts are the most annoying creatures in any videogame ever made. Even more so than Cliffracers.

There are too many of them. I can't get a damn thing done because of it. I want some lightstone but the world spawned all the lightstone suspended from the ceiling over open abyss's that lead into lave. So I have to slowly build a cobblestone tunnel to the nearest one whilst avoiding ghast bombs. I might place 1 block every 5 minutes or so.

There doesn't need to be this many ghasts at once. Also, as soon as I kill one, another takes its place. Annoying.

You CAN knock ghast bombs back at them by hitting it, but the timing seems different every time... like its random or something.

I hate ghasts. Gimme cliffracers.
