That'll probably be the lava.

No the trees were there for days now, they would have burned long ago. And simpson and I planted them at a safe distance from the fire.

Wamp can you upload a high quality map when it's time to update the map? Dunno why we're using a low res one.

Can someone PM me the server IP. Don't know where I'm going to claim territory, but it'll be far, far away and I'll make a sign at the entrance to my underground when I find a suitable spot.

Oh and my Minecraft name is... Lord_Crow.

No it wont. You must stay within the boundaries of the map in the OP. Map expansion is gradual, coming from the natural map generation from people with territories on the edges of the map. People running off building in distant places increases the world size unnecessarily, eventually making it impossible to cartograph due to download corruption.

Okay. I guess I'll head for N7, hopefully I can find it. Real men don't ask for directions.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/2035/newmap2y.jpg I feel bad that the official map we have to use is so much more tiny and low quality. Wampbit, why aren't you making maps as good as the original one anymore? Is it a matter of file size or what? Because the one I just linked too is only 3 mb....

I'm not sure either - must've messed up the file somewhere along the way - next map will be of the correct resolution.

no but i will point http://al.tc/uploads/3/Home.png

Looks good - will be added in next map (which will be today).

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1197.snc4/154933_170784872941938_100000312780585_436455_6081735_n.jpg I have yet to make a true border.

May be a bit too big - but the area is fine, I'll scale it down if I see fit.

So you can't have a large tower in an unclaimed area?

In no-man's land? Yes, everything goes. But there is no rule again griefing in no-man's land either. It's not encouraged, but not outlawed.

I've circled my claim in the last thread...it was not included on this new map. I'm assuming it's an oversight.

It's an area in I-5 and J-5.

I'll have a look at it when I make the map, but it should be fine.

http://forum.hey0.net/showthread.php?tid=257

Can we possibly install that at some point? It would make thieving a thing of the past. And with monsters and death on, we'll want to store more valuable things in our chests now.

No - chest hiding/stealing is a part of the game.

So. I moved. I now own land. Yay me.

Looks good.

I was wondering, would it be possible to expand and claim just the shores of the nearby lake? (Shown in light green.)

http://img600.imageshack.us/f/map20101127.jpg/

Kinda need additional resources and I have plans for it.

No - far too big.

I found N7 and would like to claim the whole square.

Was someone mining in N7 or does there just happen to be a giant spiraling cavern of doom?

Wamp, kindly re-disable mobs. I'm sick of Tel Undonis being re-landscaped every morning by creepers.

About the mobs:

I'm ok with having mobs on but they do seem to be broken and we can all see this. I really don't care if they are turned off or turned on but turning them off/modding creepers out means that I don't get TNT. TNT is essential to the future of BlockTec. Without it certain... experiments... will not function correctly.

If mobs and/or creepers are to be disabled then I vote that TNT should be added to the Imperial Shop. at a 2:1 ratio (2 gold:1 TNT).

Just happened to be there I guess. I set up shop in N6, but never really mined extensively except to make a little basemant under my now burning tower.

So what happened to the server? I timed out, was able to connect a minute later, and then the server went down completely.

It's down for backup and Cartograph.

Also, Shadowvia has decided to switch from Peaceful to PvP. As long as it doesn't mean wholesale griefing of my territory, I'd like the additional RPing benefits that provides.

Alright, should be interesting. A warning would've been nice. Or did I miss that because of the save lag? :P

The imperial shop is any of the admins, and you get gold by mining it.

Gray Death Legion Zone is off limits from non legion members. This means that we will shoot you on sight. Unless Legion member gives you right travel on our land.
This is just method to keep thiefs off. So please don't grief anything.

Also, if you want hire legionaries, contact me via PM.
Remember. If you where attacked by Gray Death Legion. We are always working for someone*, so if you want revenge, contact us first.

* Unless told otherwise.

If you have the ability to kill everybody that goes on your land doesn't that make you PvP?

Well that explains it. Now I think that I can secretly tunnel below their fortress and into their vault! Muahahahaha!

How is the rules about digging into other people buildings?
So can we just blast any wall or building if it is on PvP zone?

Yes, and if we see you. We will kill you and take all your stuff.

To the person who stole all the sand from my storage chests: thanks I needed the room for other stuff :D

edit: also on PvP rules, I really think things would be more fun if you weren't allowed to just circumvent defences by placing blocks - digging is fine imo but you shouldn't just be able to build your way over a lake of fire
