Out of curiousity, when will be getting the server back up in use? I already Updated to 1.4 thinking the servers were updated to 1.4 as well.

Well, a few of the mods we use on the server have already been updated to work with 1.4, so I think it's just a matter of MrTankJump updating everything. So hopefully that means it won't be much longer.

Also, I just read that wolves will spawn in SMP, but apparently they whimper all the time whether they're injured or not.

Also, I don't care if they whimper. Nothing can be more annoying than the grunting noise the zombie makes >_>

You hate SMP? And you like playing in a server? SMP = Survival Multiplayer in case you didn't know.

I don't know why, but I've had the impression SMP was Single Player *Hides face in shame of my derp moment*

Also, I miss it too. I need the fun of our server. I can't play Single player, it's just no fun knowing you're by yourself on there ;-;

For the first time ever, I saw a wolf in Minecraft. It only took 2 bones to tame it. They're actually pretty useful when you go hunting.

I saw one too, but I didn't have any meat or bones on me, so I just walked on by.

Well you know, they're WOLVES. I know that wolves don't normally attack people in real life either, but they're still wolves and not cuddly puppies.

They were not meant to be hostile on players unless you attacked them first. Tame wolves don't attack you.

I never said that they did. I'm just saying that wolves aren't the friendliest of creatures in real life.

I was hoping the wolves would be passive during the day and hostile at night, like spiders. They're not though.

Yeah but they only spawn at night. If you manage to see one during the day it usually won't chase you unless you attack it first.

I'm disappointed that you can only find Cocoa beans in dungeon chests, I wish there was some way you could actually grow them.

BigBrother, which is the bukkit plugin we use for moderation, is currently under development for the new update. Hopefully it updates soon so I can get us all playing again, until then the server is still working for the previous version of minecraft.

Umm when i tried to edit my last post it said i dont have the permission to.?? Anyway do Wolves disappear after you die? Can i just leave it by my house?

Once they're tame they won't despawn. If they're not sitting they'll teleport to you when you get to far away (even if you go through the nether) and if they are sitting, they'll stay where they are.

In version 1.3 I didn't see any at all, but with the new 1.4 they have started to appear again :shrug:

I can't speak for Single Player, but in SMP, I'd see quite a few in deep water.
