Apparently the bed spawn point only works in SMP. You have to leave your bed and then get back in it to count.

So it only works in multiplayer? Odd. I would prefer that it stayed out of multiplayer myself. I don't want to change my spawn every time I get into a bed.

Ah well, at least /spawn will have more of a use now.

How would we get back to the city then? If spawn keeps changing?

I believe that it's a different command. If you haven't noticed, /spawn doesn't seem to be tied to the actual spawn. Use /spawn and you end up on the ship, die and you end up falling from the sky.

The spawn is supposed to be at the ship but something is broken which causes you to spawn at 0,0 when you die. I think

No, people are just reverting to 1.3 I think so they can use the server until the mods we need are updated for 1.4.

Here is a mod that is supposed to downgrade your .jar to 1.3: http://zerror.com/mods/minecraft/downgrade/how%20to.txt

There's no 'official' way of doing it

While you guys do that i'll be trying make industrialcraft work.

I have no idea mods work. I've extracted both modloader and industrial craft into the minecraft.jar and deleted that META file aswell.
I'm properly derping and forgetting something simple to "activate" it

Destroying your bed reverts your spawn back to where it was originally.

I've been thinking... We've got bread. We've got eggs. We've got pork chops. We've got milk. Almost all the ingredients are there (just find a way to turn milk to cheese - add a slimeball?) for a breakfast sandwich. And frankly, as a crafty adventurer, I can think of nothing better than a breakfast sandwich as part of a spelunky morning.

Crafting recipe:

blank - bread - blank
cheese - egg - cooked pork chop
blank - bread - blank

Heals 6 hearts. Not stackable.

Are you sure you're done? You technically have until Wednesday.

If you are, then looks like it's Nuck's turn.

dude(t) let me know via PM that he'd be done early - apparently he was experiencing lots of lag and it made the experience somewhat painful. I've already let Nuck know via PM that he can expect the map today, so he'll likely swing by to start on it soon.

So...

BGSF Share Map - "It's blockalicious!"

Legend: On base - At bat - On Deck - In The Hole

The Gate Keeper - Whee, round 2 soon!
Antibody
Mr.E
mrcrazy_monkey
Undone
dudeordudet?

Nuck - editing until Mon April 11

Q: What is this share map thing?
A: A Minecraft share map is a singleplayer map that one person plays at a time. They have a set amount of time to play it, and when they're done, they upload the map for the next player in the queue. Rinse and repeat. That way, you have a single world with a shared creative vision without the multiplayer.

Q: So why don't you just do a multiplayer map instead?
A: Every player is different. Some prefer to play solo, some can't really handle the multiplayer and some like to have a singleplayer map to complement their online servers. This is just another creative outlet.

Q: How long will I get the map for?
A: Players opted for 1 week with this first rotation, but we've agreed that is too long. Each player will have it for 48 hours once we start round 2.

Q: Are there any special rules?
A: Not really, other than don't be a dink. If you do, we'll just revert to a previous save and bar you from the rotation. The only big rule we ask is to please play on 'Peaceful' because we wish to preserve the built structures. Other than that, simple etiquette takes over. If you use things, try to replace some or all of it. Leave resources for the next player. Don't destroy their creations, even if they don't meet your standards.

Q: How can I download/upload the map?
When you download the map, it will have instructions along with it. Just follow them to unzip the save to your %appdata%/.minecraft folder, change the name of the folder, then start the game up. For uploading, use your favorite zipping program to package the save folder and instructions up, then upload them to a file hosting service of your choice. There's lots out there, like http://www.4shared.com/ or http://www.megaupload.com and more.

Q: Can I be a part of this?
A: Of course. Just post in this thread that you want to join, and you'll be added to the end of the queue. If you've got specific time criteria you need met, we'll try to work with you.

Yeah I'm sure. As Mr. E said I was having serious issues with lagging in single player. I couldn't do much, so I just decided to pass it down.
