I wonder how balanced the mod really is though. Would be dumb if you could mine diamond ore for lots of XP, then place it again, then mine it again. :P

Did you go with a specific seed?

I have that plug-in and it cannot be misused. Its a very fun plug in; reminds me a little of Fallout 3. I love the repair skill! :D

We've made a good start.

Head away from the snow and go into the valley to find the town center.

Also don't cut down the chunky birch tree.

Okay, as long as the server is using whatever new mods implemented, I can never go there again.

Just an FYI, in a few minutes it will be midnight UTC/GMT, which means it'll be time for dudeordudet to upload the shared map and for Nuck's turn to begin.

Im getting hardly any lag at all, and when I do it only last for a minute or so. I wonder if you two have a mod that is going up against a server plugin or something?

Nope I don't think I would do anything like that , I have no mods and updated texture packs.

Same. Only mod I have is the one that allows high-res textures. If it was our setup, we would have noticed it the moment we first connected. It was running fine up until a few minutes ago.

Most people seem to be happy with this map. Personally, I'd prefer if we just stuck with this one rather than trying for another big ocean map.

Waterslides are a pain to make work with a boat. Got it to go straight, but the boat doesn't like turning.

Dudeordudet, you got to start your turn early when http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1184299-unofficial-minecraft-discussion-39/page__view__findpost__p__17608090, instead of starting it when you were scheduled to on May 6 at 8 pm EDT (midnight UTC/GMT). Despite this, you uploaded the map 7 hours late. Now, that wouldn't normally be a big deal, as I said to Mr. E in a Pm we should just give Nuck extra time and push back the current schedule by one day, but when I looked to see what you've done with all this time, I realized the situation is much more serious. You didn't do anything. At all. You just renamed and uploaded the exact same file Mr. E uploaded. Am I wrong? If so, please explain what compelled you to http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/357/inventoryuv.png, down to the same number of and condition of the items, as well as the exact positions in the inventory Mr. E had those items. The fact that nothing's been built, the fact that the sun is in the same position and the fact that you're standing in the exact same spot could be explained, but the inventory can't. Everyone can download the last two saves and see for themselves if there's any doubt.

And no, I don't obsessively check to make sure this doesn't happen with each turn. I'm not that anol. Every time someone uploads the new save, I go into Cartograph and make myself a quick map of it, to see what's changed so that I can save time and go directly to the changes when I actually load the game. When I made the map of the file you uploaded, nothing had changed, so I assumed you had done some mining or something underground. I loaded up your save to check our chests, but then realized I should check how much Mr. E had first and quickly exited out and loaded up Mr. E's so I could compare the two. Only once I loaded Mr. E's did I realize he started in the same building as you did, in the same spot you did, and had the exact same inventory you did.

Now, if you're wondering why I'm even bringing this all up, it's because you've wasted so much time. If you knew beforehand that you didn't have time to edit it, you could have said so, and forfeited your turn. According to our new rules, whoever did have time could take your place. But, you didn't, and took your turn instead. That's fine, maybe you had every intention to edit it, but then got swamped with work at some point. But honestly, do you expect me to believe in the 4+ days you had the map, you never once had time to upload the map early and let Nuck start his turn early? The only other explanation I can think of is that you've accidentally uploaded the wrong file, instead of the one you've actually spent your turn working on. But if this is the file you "worked on," you keeping the map all this time and not editing it once is an insult to everyone signed up for the shared map, as they could have started their turns a whole turn earlier than currently scheduled if you had simply forfeited your turn. And it's not just the fact that you didn't change anything, but the fact that you uploaded what appears to be the exact same file. You could have done nothing but plant a single flower and it would have at least been something.

*Takes a deep breath*

I don't know what should be done. It's too late to give everyone else the time you wasted on this map. We haven't actually punished anyone for anything on this shared map yet. And who knows, you may not be punished. There's no single authority on this map. Everyone else will have to have a say. I say you should be barred from the rotation for one turn, then let back in on the next. Others may be more forgiving, or think that's not harsh enough. All I know is that this is the situation and we all need to figure out how to resolve it.
