edit: I've re-downloaded the client 2 more times now and it still stalls on the green bar when it is "Updating Packages.."

edit: Should I download the .zip instead of just the .exe?

I did some calculations and it seems that while building Gray Death Legion Keep. We used over 41000 blocks of stone alone!

Ughhhhh, FFS the bar hasn't done anything and I've downloaded the client 6 times! The one day I get some time to play minecraft, of course it just isn't gunna work out :/.

edit: I don't know what to do, I've deleted EVERYTHING including the .minecraft folder which had my saves, the client and I've re-downloaded the client and it doesn't work.

If I have to wait till the beta or another update to play again this is going to svck.

Whats the max file size one minecraft save can be? and where do I find them so I can back them up?

It's in the hidden App Data (Or Application Data depending on your OS) Go to .Minecraft and Saves. Just C/P it and rename or keep the Copy of X name

I took a walk around the world last night and WOW you guys are creative. Are there any towns other than the one you spawn in? I went over King's Bridge (which looked like it has seen better days) and got lost for a while before finding my way back

I would call Legion Keep a town now.

It is east from the spawn.

My place is sort of north (further north than east) east of spawn. You can't miss the gigantic freaking statues and the massive river the game world can't generate. Also by the way I put in a long night and got the river done, statues were done, and I even got two small islands done with maybe one or two more. Finally the forest, and then it's done done. I can't take screenshots in minecraft as it crashes. It has previously been working, but now doesn't. The only way you see my work is through others pictures or going there yourself. Although I have to say a picture can't do it justice.

If you can't find it and I'm ever on just ask and I can show you where it is. It's past the giant ship and treehouse thing going right up the river/lake thing.

You can press print screen and paste it in paint, like I do.

That's what's crashing me. It only seems to happen in minecraft.
