Fairly simple logic circuits. Stick Not gates on the end of each "wrong" number, then chuck 'em all together with And gates.

I understand all the concepts it's putting it into practise that hard. Want to build me a model one

Seananners videos are strange. It always seems like hes trying to be funny but not quite getting there.

Use MC Redstone Sim to plan the layout and test it before you build.

I haven't tried a 3 bit adder. Best I've done (which isn't much) is a double door with 4 or gates so it didn't matter which button you pushed. There were 2 buttons on each side of the door.

Thought he tried to subtely put it in. There were some stuff in his inventory but he didn't put torches the second time, then they just appeared there.

I just observed the griefing. It is severe enough that no quarter should be spared toward the perpetrator. It is too blatant an attempt for me to believe the people of Neo Montreal would do it, or that is what they want me to think.

We need a crackdown in some way to stop this griefing.

The results I mean. I wish I had observed the occurrence so we could string them up. I am frustrated to see my road work damaged in such a way. How does a normal person even get admin blocks?

There's enough room vertically above them for them to grow, and they've grown that close together above ground. We established earlier that there was no horizontal space requirement, but I could try making a bit more space.
