It really isn't a city...More like a small town. If even that.
EDIT: Too bad damage isn't in mp or else we could then have a giant civil war. :P

That doesn't matter. We divide it with wall. West will be Legion occupation zone

Greetings dear Minecraft comrades.

I'm afraid I will need to put down this beloved game for a while. Things are changing and I will not be able to continue my work on the server and -

Ah what the heck, I'll get to the point. ;)

I'm focusing all free time on my level design portfolio and being selling myself to the game companies in my city. I won't be able to continue working on Neo Montreal and basicly play Minecraft.
Anybody can take over the hollow shell that it is right now and transform it to their will. With all the time I have going in my future career for now, I won't be able to play on our server for a good time.

But I'll still be reading the Minecraft thread, don't you worry!
This said, goodbye Minecraft friends, but fear not for I will be watching the progression of our world. :)

Cheers!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, good luck man. :)

[censored]. My game is glitching out horribly. I backed up my save game (in sp) so as to protect myself from any possibe bugs from inv edit and I didn't even open the map in inv edit and now when I try and play my world the Biomes update has screwed the [censored] out of my world. Now there is a great big mountain on top of my spawn and when I load the level I take constant damage due to the fact I am squashed in a massive pile of rock. Great good buy save game. (I have a few backups but when I load them it results in the same thing).

Please, please please help if you can.

I don't understand whats changed. I have copied the world 5 folder around a bit but it's integrity should be fine.

... and I have put ALOT of work into this one world.

I think you can use NBTEdit to move your spawn point,

With a great red glow from the forest of Greywood, screams emitted into the night as the ground shook. The leafs of the trees withered away and died, as a powerful aura formed in the region. Beneath the fort, something has awoken, driving out the miners and taking over the caves.

Though perhaps dormant for now, it is possible that the very forces Farus Greywood and his troops pushed back into the gates of Hell are seeking to be released.

In order to fulfill the contract on recovering documents of the Greywood Armies, The Foreman has taken his miners across the great ocean far to the East, miles away from the Gray Death Legion. It is rumored that Farus and his armies had built a far larger castle in a frozen wasteland, to help defend the great borders of Torhemn from rival nations in the past. Whether this is the case or not, it is rumored that if such a Fort existed, then the forces that worship Hell would of chased Farus's armies in order for vengeance...

No one knows what became of Farus and his armies after they left for the frozen lands. Perhaps The Foreman and his miners can find some clues...

Yeah, unfortunately I built a large proportion of my stuff around my spawn so that got wiped. I managed to semi fix it. If you change what slot your save is in it will regenerate the Biomes for some reason (it's a glitch) and I kept doing it till it left my stuff relatively alone - except now I have snow everywhere :o

It's the same as sp. And I think they've tried getting a map from above and it crashed. Wampbit was going to try it again IIRC.

The map is too large and corrupted to run through Cartographer now.

Then prepare to besieged!

And so begins... The Battle for Neo Montreal!

Someone write up a story and I'll edit it into the OP instead of the now defunct Temple Wars.

I'm not sure if I can play much today. My internet is acting weird again.

One small detail. Gray Death Legion is Mercenary unit. So we can't just go and wage war without someone first paying and ordering us to attack.
I forgot that :P

So if you want war. Pay us

I'm sure you'd be justified in waging war for your own ends, if it's to gain a strategic advantage for the Legion. If someone were to pay you to make the assault, it would normally follow that the stronghold would be passed onto them. Unless they defaulted on payment, in which case the Legion could claim Neo Montreal itself as payment.

Unfortunately the Person's Dictatorship of New Undonia is too far from Neo Montreal to have an active interest in this conflict.

In that case...

I hereby claim the lands of Neo Montreal in the name of Gray Death Legion!
43th Striker Regiment, 5th Gray Guard Regiment and 10th Death Knights are dispatched to location.

Second Keep of Legion, Ironhold shall guard over the frozen lakes.

Then growing whispers of a dark tide coming from lands far off. Threatening to cover all of the lands in another darkness. Just some rumors from those in the furthest reaches of the Kingdom of something larger happening from beyond the borders. Rumors of creations of madness. Or so the hearsay goes in the northern borders of the Kingdom. Muahahaha.

Also if anyone wants me to do the write up (aspiring author could use practice) tell me some brief guidelines of what you want in it. Just so I know how to write it. Aka is this about the battle of Neo Montreal, and the facts regarding the start up and cause of the war. Then maybe the consequences of said battle unless its on me to make all of this [censored] up. Basically I need some facts.

I'm renaming Angband to the Talos Imperium.

Some facts:

- The Talos Imperium was founded by:

- Bonemonster: A senior member of the Order of Talos and member of the Torhemn Tribunal Council.
- Gamemastr35: An associate of the now defunct Thieves Guild and a member of the Gray Death Legion.
- Caffienatedjedi: Associations are unknown at this time.

- The Talos Imperium has hired the Gray Death Legion to guard the Red Road.

- The Talos Imperium laid claim to the northern ice region long before New Montreal was built. For this reason, the Imperium see's New Montreal as an affront to its land claim and thus have allowed the Gray Death Legion to wage war on its land and will grant the Gray Death Legion ownership of that particular ice section as one of the payments for guarding the road.

Each of the senior members should have their own domain. You have New Undonia and I have the Talos Imperium. Pov is unknown (he hasn't made a place... that I know of) and I'm sure Kerm will chose Torhemn.

Acknowledged.

Gamemastr, who acts as CEO of Angband section of Legion shall be pointed as Lord of Ironhold and Neo Montreal once Ironhold Keep is build.
Tesfanner is now Lord of Gray Death Legion main keep at Tornhemn.

edit - Weird. I can't connect.

In which case, New Undonia pledges its full support where possible to the Talos Imperium and, by extension, the Gray Death Legion in this particular conflict.

Since WoodElf, Monkey and I are already residents of New Montreal, I believe we have full rights to the land.

Kinda hard to fight off anyone when damage isn't even added in.
