There are mod managers out there, I believe, and the beta version is supposed to give better support to mods so there might be an official mod manager later on. But the one you're talking about... I have it and only one other, so I do without a mod manager. It's called Zan's Mod, found here:

Download the self-installer and run it. In this case it's a very simple process.

Fences inside? No. I do however have a structure on my walls that has a mine inside.

Go to %appdata%\.minecraft\bin and delete the file called version. Should fix it.

Did you make a backup as the self-installer suggested? If so, I believe you simply find the minecraft.bak and rename it minecraft.jar.

Well I found my first diamond in single player and I found three mob spawners today. And I made some progress.

Trees are peculiar. I'm starting to believe that they might not grow close together if you plant them. I have them spaced four apart, and they aren't growing. That bothers me, my island needs more beauty!!!

Who the [censored] put a dynamite trap in the hidden entrance to my base? The only people who knew about the entrance were Bonemonster, SimpsonFly and Demonicpopcorn. And considering the entrance was perfectly sealed back up, it's doubtful it was a random griefer, or Bonemonster for that matter, because he never saw me seal it back up. So SimpsonFly and Demonicpopcorn, do either one of you want to confess?

Might be the griefer/thief who raided Mordor.

Remember though, there are glitches that allow people to see torches through walls. That's one way it could have been found.


It seems that you stumbled upon my place... from the north side. How exactly did you manage that? You would have had to have passed Mordor for that.

I didn't even know there WAS a secret entrance. Or was that the entrance we went into when I installed the CC? That is the only time I've been to your place. You should also check to see if you've placed torches in hidden areas, torchlight can be seen as it leaks through the blocks. That method will also allow people to see hidden areas when the map is loading.

I have suspicions on members who use the loading trick to find hidden stuff. If you notice people constantly logging in or out every few minutes, chances are they are using the loading trick.... which I WILL temp ban for and permaban if it continues. This trick isn't very sporting.

A reminder:

I don't know if Wamp explained it or not but look on the map and you will see some zones are green and some are red. Green zones are protected zones where doing anything out of the ordinary such as stealing, griefing and pking are tempbans of 4-7 days. Red Zones are unprotected areas.

Stealing is ONLY legal in Red Zones.

People that live in Green Zones are NOT allowed to steal from Red Zones. Doing so is unfair.

Laying traps as in Ant's case, even though it is a Red Zone, is illegal as he is not currently at war. If anyone has a beef with Ant then make a war declaration in the thread. Otherwise, knock it off.

Griefing in ANY case is illegal unless the areas are current war zones and only the parties at war who have agreed to griefing terms can actually do the griefing and only when both parties are on at the same time.

Griefing otherwise is an instant permaban.

EDIT: My friend Mrtankjump is now an admin. He is going to help me clean up this place as the others are somewhat busy. I will also be pushing for new admins so that we can have 24hour coverage of the server.

Speaking of TNT, I found a stack of twelve TNTs in the chest at spawn. I took them so that they wouldn't fall into the hands of someone who may want to do harm. If they belonged to anybody, and you can prove it, I will give them back.

i can communicate with him in real time which is more effective that PM's and thread posts. This will allow us to more effectively administrate justice. With new admin rules i am pushing and 24hour coverage we'll give those griefers a run for it.
