C'mon, we need a new map. I can't find a good spot for a house and I have no idea where I am.

People are trying to get a new map but there are technical difficulties.

I hope all you new members are reading our server rules in the first post. And I hope the people vouching for them will be kind enough to tell them as well.



A new map isn't going to help you find your way any better than the current one will. The locations and shapes of bodies of water and shores will not have drastically changed, if at all, and those are the features you should be using to find your way in the first place.

Surely if they express an interest then they must have read the rules. And in any case it makes no difference whether they've read them or not. If the rules are broken punishments are given. Ignorance is not innocence.

Ironically, we have that. I don't know if Wamp has it configured correctly. I'll check it out now and put some blocks on the list. Like... TNT.

EDIT: When I open the txt file, there is nothing in it. I'll PM Wamp to see what can be done here and to give all of the mods the command to use it. This mod will also allow us to remove griefer blocks like Adminium, TNT traps, Lava traps. This mod can be very useful.

Wamp may have it turned off because of server performance. The server software is already causing lag, as you all well know, when Hmod is on because the server code isn't written for performance yet. Something Notch has acknowledged when the biomes update was released... but still hasn't fixed.

Is this game free? It looks addicting.
