I have finished the east road that leads from spawn to my territory at G5. I intend on building a wharf where boats will be available for transport to locations further east.

If it's not working because the map is too big you could try opening it in MCEdit and deleting any chunks outside the boundaries you want.

I think that the [censored] who did this knew full well what he was doing, because you'd have to go quite a distance out to stop cartographer from working. Putting an actual border around the map wouldn't have stopped him.

So after a minor break from Minecraft, I put Aza's Arid Texture Pack on (looks beautiful, though kind of weird with snow), and loaded up my world. That was most definitely NOT there before, and I had thought at first that the bottom was Void, not Water. Upon scaling down there, I found it was filled with water, and I will be proceeding to build a building down there (or something).

Anyone else have this happen? I am glad it didn't happen over anything I had built. This is a chunk error, I assume, and completely random.

I give my claim on H5 to Antibody, if possible, as I do not have the time nor will to play SMP until it is as stable as SP.

lava, water, a small crater, and a hole in the road. the hole and water are fixed tho.

Edit: someone will have to clime up and cap the lava flow. me and lava dont get along >_<

Well to be honest things like these would happen less if we had more members as admins. That would do regular check ups on members. For the last week I've been playing there really has never been any admins on. Now I'm not trying to dis any current admins, because I'm sure they are busy. However members like Robbio, skyshadowing, gamgee and Antibody could be admins in my eyes. If we did this earlier they might have been able to stop things like this happening.

Was the SKYRIM! thingy there when you saw the mess?

The Skyrim sign is still intact. The structure behind it was leaking lava but I patched it up. The safehouse was also being flooded with water but that has also been patched up. The safehouse is still a crater.

I keep pushing for new admins cuz I can't be on all the time. The other guys have exams and whatnot. So far... I see no new admins. I had a list too.....

If it matters I don't have school, and only work a teeny tiny amount of the day. I am also generally on. If people do want a new admin I would be willing, assuming I'm wanted. That is all I have to say about that.

I haven't been on much lately because I can't think of anything to build. And to be honest losing all of the stuff has kind of demoralized me.

I also bought myself Jade Empire. I can't resists me one 'o them Bioware games.

I haven't been on lately because the semester is ending and finals are a pain in the ass, so I have no time for Minecraft. I do have an upcoming 6 week break though, so I'll be on a lot more I'm sure.

Sheesh with all the people on the server and a new list of allowed members and someone is still greifing? Just remove suspicious people anonymously until you notice the griefing stopping. I am glad my server is only has seven people on the whitelist and I know most the people in the server. Anyhow I need to work on my journey to find my first diamond in single player and get more cobble stone for my project.
