The Darkness of night was shattered when the sky became illuminated with the light of a thousand burning trees. A mysterious, floating purple fire seemed to dance between the stars, and began to concentrate itself into small orbs. These small orbs then shot themselves deep into the ground, disintegrating whatever land they touched.

More lava should do the trick. Although I'm not sure where you would get it as you seem to have taken most of the lava on this side of the map.

On another note, my brief walking around Mordor has shown me how dangerous it is without a /home function, so I might wait until we get that back.

I am completely lost without /home /spawn or /compass. I am currently holed up in a small fortress I threw together in the middle of a lake. Only way in is through a door underwater.

There was a huge void in between me and Robbio's place. I stumbled upon it while building the road... I was going to go get some tools to go explore it (and getting down would be easy because there was water at the bottom), but I logged out and in again and it was gone. :dry:

I was running a multiplayer server on my PC and my PC BSODd and I lost everything in my inventory. :dry: Are there cheats for Minecraft so I can get my stuff back?

Ah, so you noticed how I started on the road did you? I would have completed it but I ran out of tools.

Dying and having to run like mad back to Mordor to try and retrieve my things=not fun. :down:

I had been planning to finish it as soon as the server was back up, but thanks for working on it. You should consider making a road from your place that connects to the middle of the road between me and Robbio.

if you're and admin or a mod you can spawn items using commands in the chatbox:

In default MC:

/give [itemid] [amount] [playername]

With Hmod:

/item [itemid] [amount] [playername optional if given to self]

Item id's can be found on the wiki.

Now it's time for another installment of Antibody, VOID ADVENTURER!

On this installment, I come across three, yes, three voids!

I came across the first void in Mordor's front yard. I had hid there during the night after doing some construction on the road and when day came I saw it in the distance.

I tried to jump in, thinking the bottom was filled with water, but there was an invisible barrier stopping me that sent me back to safe ground. So after looking around the void and making sure there were no lava pockets I'd run into, I started digging straight down, right next to the void.

As I dug down, I spotted gold and diamonds in the distance. They would be mine!

Once I got to the same depth the diamonds were at, I started digging along the edge of the void. By this time I had realized that the bottom was not water, but was really just a hole to nothingness.

After I got the diamonds, Robbio came, and I asked if he could find the hole I dug down with and pour some water so I could swim back up. He couldn't find it, so later I just had to fill the hole with dirt to get back up.

On my way back up I remembered to get the gold, then many dirt blocks later, I was back on the surface!

On the way back to my place, intending to store my new-found riches in a safe place, I stumbled upon another void. Knowing that voids disappear when you log off and log back in again, I assumed it would be back after I went to my storage area. Unfortunately, when I came back one night later, it was gone.

Discouraged, I went back to work on the road, hoping another void may have appeared somewhere along it. And luckily, there was!

There was even a cave and lava in it!

I decided to dig down to the cave first, and see what was inside.

When I broke through, I found the cave (obviously), and a few zombies (which you can't see in this pic)

After that, I dug to the cave that was filled with lava.

Unfortunately I had to log off after that, so that's all I've got to share. And when I log back on, the void will be gone. Still, I hope this post has encouraged you all to explore your own voids, if you find them. And considering I found three in such a small area, if you look around you'll surely find some too.

But I didn't explore it further because the tools I had on hand were almost broken. So I logged off, and when I logged back in again it was gone.

The voids must be a sign that the gods are angry! We must take note of this popcorn and make some changes to our vault.

We should make this the new official sport: "Void Spelunking"
