i just found out something unfortunate.....it involves creepers
So before, when creeper came up to you, you could simply hit it so it got out of range, causing the explosion timer to reset.Well not anymore, Creepers now "save up" their explosions times. Found that out when i was hiding inside of my house with a creeper right outside the door.
I opened the door, hit it, then closed the door and after about 10 seconds i opened the door again and it exploded immediately.

Gold tools are faster than diamond now.
Edit 1: Iron is still slow

Fur realz? Feels strange to do it with gold, but I guess it needs to be marginally useful as an ore besides the watch (I do love the watch though). I assume it degrades much faster, though...

So I guess that's supposed to make gold tools useful for digging quickly, with the disadvantage of breaking much quicker than diamond tools?

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but something had to be done with gold.

Indeed. I would like to see gold coins as craftable...

But how is the gold sword? does it swing faster?

Don't think it matters. I think there's a cooldown thing between hits, so even if you hit super fast only a few hits actually count as hits.

You'll also look like a complete bad ass which is so much more important.

Well I'm hoping that's the case, I figured as much from the rules.

Mods if you have any objection to this please belete.

Right I mentioned another server my friend has set up a bit ago, it had a few minor problems (due to some trees updating every millisecond and overwhelming everything...) It's fixed now.

It's still not a dedicated as of yet as we are still assembling the box but it's up if you guys want to play while the current one is down. Rules are the norm, no griefing and well generally don't be a doodiehead

Ill probably check that out later, just a couple questions regarding it.

Is there any system we have to go through before we can start building stuff, or are we allowed to just look for a nice empty spot and get to work?

And does the server have/ home commands availible?

P.S: Does anyone have a file of our old server? I want to rebuild Fort Greywood when I find wherever I choose to play eventual

server is having problems again so it's down temporarily >_< (it's getting annoying, working just fine for days then suddenly problems)

uh to answer the other questions, when it's up you can find and empty spot and get to work

and we will add the /home commands etc when we can

there's also a fort near spawn for starting out, gives protection at night, lots of tools and supplies, kinda works like a take a penny leave a penny thing, tools to be taken but it's appreciated if you leave some when you are more wealthy

Hmod is finished. Bukkit will be taking over, but aren't releasing until they reach some sort of licensing agreement with Mojang.

Sandstone is awesome. Have been digging up a whole desert, now that I can finally make a real pyramid with a golden top. Also in the works, a snazzy representation of the Babylonian wall. Lots of sheep have been dyed for that. ^_^
