I think all the server admins/mods should use megaman characters.... But, since it is BGSF, I spose Ordinators and Guards would be in order.

Woot, finally got Minecraft. I'll be Ewoklord, same as here.

anyone elses minecraft launcher a bit buggy since the last update? Usually requires a few tries before it actually lets me play. It will freeze, unfreeze, and ask if I want to play offline mode.

I was playing MineCraft with my friend online & we tried to rob some-guys stuff. But then he busted us & we ran out the way we got in. (We build a secret passage way to his house). He started chasing us with a diamond sword(we had nothing). My friend for some reason jumped into the lava and so did he. They both died & I got away with the stuff. LOL omg i love this game. Tobad we got kicked after..

Well, considering stealing is a form of griefing, it's not a surpise you got kicked. Keep trying it in the same server and you can get /IPbanned.

Funny how Notch advertises the game as having no DRM, and yet we are required to connect to Minecraft.net to play, which is still having issues sometimes, so sometimes you can't play at all. You could almost compare it to Assassin's Creed 2's DRM! :confused:

You can play without being connected to Minecraft.net. Just click play offline after it fails to log in.

WHAT? Why is something thats there on purpose; griefing? It makes NO sense. Why would they allow you to steal then ban you? Thats so dumb.

PS if you get away with stealing & the owner didn't catch you. Can they still somehow find out?

They didn't allow you to steal. Why do you think you got kicked?

Most servers do not allow users to steal other users stuff. Because Notch hasn't engineered any means of locking chests, there isn't much one can do to prevent theft except for hiding one's stuff. Anti-stealing rules are enfroced by kicks and bans.

If the owner knows when the robbery occured (it was all there at 5 p.m, was gone at 10 p.m.) the admins can check the server logs during the time period when the theft occured. Active users during that time period can be scrutinized to determine who is the theif. They could also revert the server (unlikely for a simple theft) so that it would be as if the theft never occured. (reverting server=loading a back-up of the server's minecraft world)

Wow that svcks.. All i did was steal some food; I was starving.. So if I get banned. Which I will try to avoid. Will i have to buy the game again??

I thought the guy i stole from was the host and he kicked us...
