Illegal? No. Unsupported (Meaning that you, not Notch, are fully responsible for any damage to your game that may result)? Yes.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Its a gray area.

From the blog:

First of all, most “mods” that add new features to the game are in a very gray area legally, and I frown upon them. Most of them add really cool new features, though. It’s highly likely that something like the bridge mod will make it into the game.

I was referring to client mods that alter or inject code. Texture mods and server mods are fine.

Search for a program called mine edit. It allows you to edit your saves and alter the state of your inventory, so I guess you could give yourself dynamite. It doesn't mess with code, just your saves, so I wouldn't worry about it being illegal or anything.

I can't quite remember how to set it up. However if you manage to get it set up what you need to do is start mine edit, load the save game you want to alter, then go to the inventory tab and mess around with your inventory. If you are really confused use google or Youtube to find a tutorial.

Why does it say "The appication failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)? Whenever I click on MineEdit.exe!

I don't know. I don't use MineEdit anymore, I just thought it might be helpful to suggest using it.

I think INVEdit was designed specifically for editing your inventory.

I'll apply, but I still prefer the single-player experience. Likely the only reason I'd log on is to see what's up or to help out on a community building project.

I think that its showing that error is because I am trying to open Mineedit.exe from that winrar folder. How do I extract it all to 1 folder to the desktop? Because when I do it leaves all these files on my desktop.

The only problem with using unclaimed land to build it is that someone can claim that land later, and destroy the tower, or just destroy it without claiming it considering it can be griefed if not in claimed land. If you'd like, you can use the extra territory I have in H5, because I haven't done anything with it since acquiring it, however you'd have to find a way to either get rid of the water or put land over it. And as you know from helping me build in my main territory, the latter option is much much more of a hassle.

i also have room behind the corporate building, north of the arena... in that section. I won't be doing anything with it in the foreseeable future considering the current project is like building a death star (it'll take 20 years). So... if it seems to be a good spot for WGT, go ahead.
