.....

YESSSSSSSSSS!

To be honest, I absolutely hated the whole, "Find your territory." Scenarios we had going.

So are we allowed to build anywhere outside the city as long as it doesn't grief others, and we are prepared to handle griefing on our own?

Yeah, pretty sure.

Might want to wait for a mod to confirm this though.

So if griefing is allowed outside the walls does that mean somebody could attack me if I were wandering around outside the walls?

Griefing isn't allowed outside the city, per se, but you just aren't protected from it.

What's the status of archiving the old map? Is it available for download yet, and if not, will the link be posted in this topic?

The mods have said that if you have proof of someone griefing you outside the walls, they will act on it. Otherwise you're on your own.

So, I have a problem. Minecraft crashes every time I try to run it. Not sure if posting this here will help, but maybe somebody else has had it the problem.

So I tried to install this texture pack: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=64678

And it required me to run this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173

I did. Now my game crashes when it reaches the "Mojang Specifications" screen.

Any idea?

I fixed it! That was quick.

[censored] I can't wait to rebuild Fort Greywood. Maybe ill rebuild the Abandoned Temple of Vinegar Ra and uh... you know what, a shrine to Hiomaste's Magnificently Flammable Treehouse! (I wont set it on fire, don't worry)

And a statue that represents Aldgate and Torhemn with tunnels to represent the Block Tec Vaults under it!

Oooh, and Ill have to build a shrine for the three ships we had in Torhemn to.

And lets not forget the one to Hiomaste, just because his infamy is to awesome to not have a statue of! So much work to do!

I'm planning to build a sugar farm. I'd sell the sugar so people can make paper and books... and of course cake (it's a lie I tell ya, A LIE!).
I'm using my laptop as my Minecraft computer now. Those people in Gigantti couldn't do anything for my monitor...

Uh, there's something wrong with the minecraft website... "So far 0 people have registered and 0 people bought the game." And some of the links are not visible.

Yup. We will reactively deal with griefing/general poor play outside the walls if people come to us about it, but it's not something we're able to pursue proactively.

So if griefing is allowed outside the walls does that mean somebody could attack me if I were wandering around outside the walls?

Not allowed. As above, this will be reactively moderated.

That's on Wampbit, whose computer is fried just now. The link will be posted up in this thread (and ideally in the OP too) when it's uploaded.

An external renderer. Took 90 minutes to render :P

Minecraft does have some cool mods that add in-game effects though, like the GLSL shader mod.

I'm using a couple of modified shaders, you can just edit them in Notepad or something.
