Why is it every egg farm system I see relies on you having dozens of eggs to start with? I just said screw it and designed my own egg farm from scratch. It's a lot slower but it works without needing any eggs.

There's a serious problem with lag going right now, I lost a stack of 64 cobble from my inventory and blocks I placed were disappearing after a few seconds to reappear minutes later. <_<

Anyone else having this problem?

I was having that problem the other day, but it was mostly due to me downloading 3 games on Steam at the time.

Yeah, the server is totally [censored] right now. I'm not even going to attempt to play until there's news of it being better or being restarted.

Dang I just can't seem to play minecraft anymore , I don't find anything creative to do even though I haven't done anything much in the creative side at all. Any ideas how to spice up the game without raising the difficulty ?

No , heard there was problems with the unofficial bethesda server like greifing and major lag.

Well, there's some ideas just from the 1.2 update...

-Make a food dispenser so you can tap it for a quick health boost, anytime.
-Colored buildings with wool. That needs a lot of sheep.
-Line the walkway to your house with note blocks and pressure plates, so it plays a tune every time you walk in. And it'll do it in reverse on the way out (trippy!)

Well the griefing has pretty much been stopped due to a mod that lets you know exactly what people have changed, and lets you rollback ONLY what they've changed, not the entire server.
Lag-wise, there was really bad lag today until around when I got on at 7pm eastern it was fine, and I have a really bad connection lol.

In other news, the Community Wheat Farm has been completed, thanks to SimpsonFly, Gamemastr and Legogod (I wasn't a whole lot of help haha). http://i837.photobucket.com/albums/zz299/Kuromori_Dragoona/2011-02-11_005000.png

Someone's been placing inappropriate signs though, there's currently one in front of SimpsonFly's house...

As far as griefing goes, systems are in place where you will get caught and you will get banned. I remember a couple of days ago there was a problem where someone was stealing from chests. The admins were able to "return the property" so to speak and I believe the perpetrator was dealt with. Personally I haven't had any problems with griefers and everyone I've dealt with have proven themselves trustworthy.

Lag problems seem to be an intermittent issue. It was pretty bad most of the day today but it seems to be working fine now. I'm not sure if it's the server or the buggy multiplayer or both. My only advice is if it gets bad, log out, give it a few minutes then try again.

Put arrows + bacon in a dispenser and you'll either get a grisly death or a tasty snack!

We believe it may have something to do with a new plugin we have installed. It is a dynamic map that updates in real time every time a block is changed within a chunk. I think that leaf decay is [censored] with it hardcoe, hence the lag. I've asked Tank to look into it since dynmap is his baby.

There aren't really any community projects on at the moment, everyone's looking after themselves. Unless you want to join the Gay Death Legion. :meh:

Im actually tossing around the idea of making a Super-Railroad from Greywood to Main City eventually, for when I get all these damn walls built. I wanna sell land plots in the area I have made mine eventually while helping expand our city to a ridiculously huge size. Then move further east, build more walled areas, and continue ^_^

Of course, if Tank get's the Nether working all that goes out the window

Dang well where to do I start? Can I go outside the walls? I am in the starter plots . Do I just start making something in a random big place where nobody has done anything? I don't want to get in trouble.

Your allowed to build outside city walls whatever you want, itsj ust inside you need to buy plots and what not.

What I did was look toward a direction and ran in it for some odd minutes until I found a piece of land that I felt would be suitable to begin construction. Then I did just that.

... just.. dont forget where you were >_>

Oh well I have to get rid of my small log cabin then. Oh well, is there any entrances outside the wall? I don't wanna jump it .

I recommend just digging under it and replacing the dirt as you move along.
