I'd be up for building vivec :D

It's kinda weird coming onto a map so late on, everyone else is established and I dunno what to do with myself :P

Vivec sounds nice. What would be the main material?

And afterwards we could build Ebonheart across the lake from it.

We have to bring this idea to the attention of admins and council members and find out how to get it officially sanctioned (so that we can spawn sandstone rather than spend most of our time harvesting entire deserts).
Edit: and we have to find a body of water big enough and deep enough to fit Vivec into it.

Good idea, and we should also be sure we build it to scale.

That goes without saying. I'm going to look for a map of our server and look for a big body of water and ask Bonemonster if we can spawn sandstone.

Hmm, I wonder how well the game interiors fit inside the cantons...

Probably not too well but hell we may as well give it a try. We are going to need pictures of the cantons with a grid overlayed so that we can convert it into blocks easily. I believe that is how Sky made his Imperial Dragon monument.

Alright, I'll drop working in the Nether to help with this. Wonder if we can make it a server-wide project. Even though there's only... what? 10 active members? Less?

I was going to ask the council to declare it an official server-wide project but I have no idea who to ask. I guess it doesn't need to be official. We also need to appoint a leader, preferably somebody who is frequently online and has experience with large scale projects. Having a leader is neccesary so that decisions can be made quickly and everybody is doing the same thing. Otherwise we will have people building cantons on their own and they will all end up looking very different.

I don't think we necessarily need to just have one person directing, a set of planes for the bits we want people to work on would be good though.

Whoever puts those plans together will probably end up taking a leading role in the construction anyway. I have no idea how to go about putting together plans like that but http://images.uesp.net//e/e4/MW_Map_Vivec.jpg

Edit: On an unrelated note I am going to sleep now.

Yeah that's a little problem, the spawning. Once that starts, it usually doesn't take long before everyone starts requesting items. :P

And Vivec is huge. HUGE. http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/3376/mgescreenshot14.jpg http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8317/mgescreenshot4.jpg http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/57416-1284893015.jpg

I think we'd have plenty of work if we start with 1 canton. :P

If we'd go for all of them we need a really large water space.

There's the Foreign quarter, which is the highest one with the most stuff in it. http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/9812/mgescreenshot6.jpg

I can make some screenshots of the interiors. They appear to make sense.

Im up for it. What will we build the Ministry out of?

Dirt would make the most sense, as that's what it is. A large ball of dirt with caves, some wooden supports and doors, and wooden prison cells in it. :P

Pov is right. I say we start one canton first. Then do others, one at a time slowly.

I can probably divide the place up into blocks, I have a pretty good idea of what the place looks like. And I'll bring screenshots. :D

I say Povu is the leader.

I nominate myself.

I then protest my nomination.

I then insult myself.

I then throw myself out of the window.

I then withdraw my nomination.

Seriously, now, if asked, I could help. I have techniques that could be used, that I used with the Monument. But leading? No, no, no, no, no.
