Are you guys using open NATS and upnp on your routers. I found that helped me out a lot. If you are, just hang in there new patch with reworked net code and other fixes coming soon.

I loved the 2d games and bought MK9 around a week or two after it was released. It's amazing. I've been playing maybe 30 minutes a day and I finally beat the story mode last night.
