[RELZ] Unofficial Oblivion Patch 3.2.0 and 3.2.4 HOTFIXES [R

Post » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:16 am

Excellent. Thanks Arthmoor.

Looks like a lot of great fixes there. Much appreciated.

(Although Fadus Calidius running around his guild hall naked was rather amusing. Especially as I am using Roberts Bodies making him truly naked.. But seriously; good fix.)

Actually, truth be told, I didn't realise these mods were still being updated.

Yeah, that makes the UOP extremely awesome. And Bethesda really bad. :P

Thanks for the update!

 :foodndrink: I didn't realise there was anything left to do with this, thanks Arthmoor (also big thanks for your recent Feldscar)

Now I just need to get my head round RAEVWD, QTP3 redimized plus the Pyffi patch before this one?? :ahhh: :lmao:

Edit: Does any of your clothing replace ... oh godz here we go... any parts of the following (I have a bit of mix-n-match going on with clothing)
Artifacts
Artifacts Roberts male
ClassyClothingCompendium
EVE_HGEC_BodyStockAndClothing
Slofs_Robe_Trader_For_Exnems
HGEC Underwear

I dont think I will cause any reversions so long as I remember to install your new patch last anyway but just curious.

Considering also I will be installing The Girl Next Door when its released to replace HGEC body and clothing..

Edit2: In fact... forget the clothing - its just going to be a case of spreading the word to update any clothing to incorporate any necessary changes

Ummm... The UOP should be installed and loaded early, as in, almost first. Definitely not last.

I know this has been asked/answered earlier, but with this newest version, should I use MOBS (Update for UOP 3.2.x) or OMOBS (Version with UOP 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 Fixes)? Or neither? I'm using an FCOM setup.

Neither. The UOP Supplement page now includes a link to this mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28537

Which is a stand-alone version of MOBS. By including it in your bashed patch as an "imports stats" item, but not activating it, you get the MOBS weapon stats without affecting UOP or FCOM changes.

It also includes optional files for the MOBS gameplay changes.

If you are using FCOM, grab the OMOBS 1_0 download from that page.

Did I ever report this http://s244.photobucket.com/albums/gg24/Tomlong54210/?action=view¤t=badtable01-1.jpg, the one that disappears when viewed from certain angles?

Loaded early in the load list yes, BOSS will still place this as before the update anyway, but installing can be a different matter...

Quote from Arthmoor on Tesnexus
UOP 3.2.0, the QTP3 patch for UOP 3.2.0 if you're using QTP3, then this hotfix

I'm using AWLS, RAEVWD, the redimized QTP3 and the Pyffi patch for the same, then installing this before re-doing BOSS, Wrye bash patch and TES4LodGen (after deleting the mammoth DistantLOD folder first, to get a clean and 'relevant' LOD maps with no leftovers from previous installations)

If I install patch 3.2.0 and hotfix 3.2.5 do I need the other hotfixes also (3.2.1-4)?

No 3.2.5 includes all that has gone before, you just need 3.2.0 followed by this ( unless you install other mods which affect the same files as mentioned above which need a bit more consideration, in my instance I may have now replaced some Pyffi'ed files but they are more up to date, and I trust Arthmoor will have Pyffi'ed them first, they just wont be redimized and Pyffi'ed )( I think :) )

Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean about the meshes and textures being overwritten by other mods. Just have to make sure the meshes get pffi'ed first in other mods (especially the older ones). With that said, you would figure that the patch would get installed last if you have many mods.

~snip~... With that said, you would figure that the patch would get installed last if you have many mods.

Especially for something like this which fixes things like pathing. Load order still applies obviously with BOSS but the installation routine is variable depending as you say on older files which will need to be overwritten by this patch. That is until the big mods like AWLS, RAEVWD, Better Cities etc etc get updated to include the files updated in this patch, this will have to be a later install.

Edit: Although the 3.2.0 original can stay where it was in your install routine

I have been on this BSA kick lately, thinking of putting as many mods into BSAs as possible, what do you think of a BSA with the meshes and textures for the patch? In that case, since it is loaded really early, the esp would lood at the patch bsa first?

Not sure, the only BSA changes I do are via OBMM, for any omods I have the settings use BSA Alteration for textures and generate archive invalidation (ignoring normal maps).

I believe the only thing I have seen wrong with your suggestion is the extra complications for updating and keeping track, which is why generally people stick to either scripted installs by OBMM, or more recently advancing to BAIN installations and annealing. Scripted BAIN will be superb when its implemented into Wrye Bash, but will take Pacificmorrowind a while to get to grips with and perfect. (From what I have seen he is doing a fantastic job of doing a thousand things at once on a dial up network.... amazes me, and if he finds something wrong that has knock on effects to all the pies he is mentally absorbed in to resolve multiple issues at once, it takes a bit longer)

Ree-he-heely??? Very cool! Thanks guys!

EDIT - Changes made to v3.2.5 - Timothee LaRouche sleeps earlier to avoid three-in-a-bed scenario.
I don't think Timothee LaRouche will ever forgive you "Rob"... Who interrupts a threesome? LOL!

Updates can be a pain. I spend 95% of my time updating and configuring and 5% playing, of which most is testing. I just want a stable game and play, maybe update when I want to change everything or to fix a major bug. Anyway, it beats the .NET issue I am working on right now :)

I think the note reference AWLS, (Anvil and Leyawin), needs including over on Tesnexus too, or an update to AWLS whichever comes first.
