Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplemental : IV

I'm still new to Mods but yesterday I installed 11 of them from scratch, after uninstalling the ones I downloaded the day before. The first three that I installed were the Unofficiall Oblivion Patch, Shivering Isles Patch and Official Mods Patch, then the fourth was the Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplemental. The UOPS patch was the only one of the 11 that had conflicts whilst installing, i.e. I was given the option to overwrite certain files during the installation. I thought this was just updating the original UOP, as it was a follow on but I'd just like to make sure I did the correct thing by overwriting the files?

You did the correct thing. The UOPS does overwrite many files of the original UOP, plus it includes updates to the SI and DLC Mods patches. :thumbsup:
