[Relz] Unofficial Oblivion Patch 3.2.0 + Unofficial Patch Su

Post » Thu Jun 30, 2011 4:53 pm

Would it be possible to split them off into an optional patch? I don't run overhauls, but I would love to have these fixes.

yes. arthmoor can just make a esp that contains the leveledlistlist only with tes4edit and supply it with UOP if he want's. Else alot of people will not lke having their game's become unbalanced for those that use Overhaul once again..

Many of these armor are not added into the game once again because they are overpowered, So should be left out much like some fo the weapons has well, but, I missed getting to talk about that one when it was intergrated..

some mods already add them into leveledlist or give them out in other ways or have them for sale..

So once again I ask not to add them Arthmoor, for compatiblity reasons and balance reason once again and included those via a seperate.esp for those that would like them.

I had hoped your bold text wasn't serious, but I guess it was. I fail to see the issue here considering they're vanilla armors and weapons that don't have a great deal of power considering the lists contain other stuff that's even more powerful.

If I may add a possible suggestion for 3.3.6, assuming you're taking suggestions...

I've noted that Orintur and Eylonwy, the two Altmer mages at the Cheydinhal Mages Guild, supposedly own Willow Bank (in fact, Orintur's dialog mentions that he divides his time between his home and Willow Bank)... But neither of them ever enter the house. Now, I realize it might be considered out of the UOP's purview, but I think it might be nice to have that little oddity nipped.

Unfortunately, I don't have first-hand knowledge of this one (I only found this one out through the UESP)... but if you like, I'll sit around Willow Bank for a day, and try to see if they decide to go in for any reason. If they don't, Willow Bank gets to gain the title of 'easiest mansion to rob.' :) If this is considered to far-reaching to fix, then that's fine with me... I'll just rob 'em blind with my thief character XD

I am guessing (guessing) that the perceived issue is that those "level list overhaul" mods remove certain items from those lists (to only leave less powerful ones or what have you), and would therefore miss removing the ones this patch would add back in.

In my opinion; No, make the changes as listed.
Then it is up to those mod makers to update their mods if they feel the need. (Understanding that some are unlikely to do so, having moved on etc.) Because as I read it; this is clearly a fix to the original (vanilla) game; what these patches are all about. And you shouldn't avoid real fixes in fear of upsetting the settings of others mods, just so long as they really are fixes as opposed to personal preferences (this I think being the case here.)

This has been fixed already. The UESP is out of date on most of the UOPS fixes.

Heh... I've noticed the UESP's been out of date on a lot, but wasn't aware that was already fixed. Disregard that, then. Anyhow, I'm all for adding in the missing weapons, for the same reasons Vargr stated.

The AI bug with Willow Bank is supposed to already be fixed. I take it it isn't working? Maybe another mod is overriding the AI pack changes? If it's not working, sure, I'd like to see to it that it IS working.

EDIT: Well, ok, ninja'd by the fact that the stupid post button didn't click earlier :P

Also, I'm inclined to agree that the UOP should not be hamstrung by the wants and desires of overhaul makers. "Content restoration" is as valid a fix as anything else and should have every right to equal footing as anything else. I've poked at several of the items in question being restored to the lists they should be on and they're no more over or under powered than anything else in the vanilla game. Besides, isn't this the stuff Bashed Patches live for?

Trust me - it's working  Wanted to buy something off of one of the two and was extremely annoyed that they were off enjoying their snuggles at Willowbank! Just can't win sometimes, I know.

I'd like to see those fixes put in. And yeah, I thought the Bashed Patch could deal with this...
