Unofficial Orc thread. : V - Skyrim

I was a huge fan of Orcs in Morrowind, was let down by the kindliness and smoothness of them in Oblivion, but now we all know what they look like I'm sure they are going to be the greenest, meanest race once again!

I personally prefer the Oblivion orsimer.

The orcs of Morrowind are pretty clichéd. :shrug:

Did anyone else notice how the New look of the Orc's is exactly like that Oblivion mod?

In any fantasy game if I have the option to be in orc, i'm going to be an orc wether it be DnD, TES, Warhammer, you name it and I'm an orc. However, the oblivion orcs really let me down. The facial construction was just pathetic and they were just very un orky. So far what I have seen so far is that the orcs in skyrim are going to be much, much better. I'm really looking forward to 'krumpin some gitz wid ma choppa'. A orc is definitely going to be my 1st character. Only 199 days left till release!

I'm not sure about the first question. I've seen the screenshot but the angle makes it look more like a juvenile Orc; more badass yes but undermined a little by the overly youthful look.

They look way better than in Oblivion. Still, they're Orcs so no, i'll probably not play one.

I often played Orcs in MW, almost never in Oblivion
Vast improvement in appearance, one thing I'm very happy about

My first char was an Orc stealth bowman assassin. What didn't fit in? I bet the other races will look just as good, guess I'll play as them all, eventually

I've never played an Orc in TES because I always thought they looked weird and sounded too friendly and proper for Orcs. The Skyrim Orc looks miles better than the other games so far, hopefully they sound as mean as they look. My fourth character in Skyrim will most likely be an Orc, but I haven't seen an Argonian yet...

Looking at the new Orc does make me want to play as one but I know I'll think that about all the races. Beth's really improved the character modelling :tes: .

You must have tried hard to find the worst possible orc screenshot from Oblivion. :tongue:

Not on my first play through, but I definitely will be playing as an Orc in the game. Hope all that face paint and stuff is custom- would add a lot more to the process

If being an orc means I'll have unique dialogue or quest opportunity, yes. Otherwise, I'll just pick dunmer, my default race.

They look awesome, but I wont play one on my first char at least. Maybe later after my first is done. I will play it eventually though.

Like I already said, mine will be a Dunmer but I will look heavily into playing as an Orc! :intergalactic:
