Unofficial patches screwing up my game

ok the patches seem to be screwing up my game. the Zeta Patch prevents some triggers such as what tells Sally to leave the trash thing in the Maintenence Level as well as the trigger that deactivates the Force Field in the Living Quarters. I've also noticed this happen with Broken Steel where you enter that little sewer grate you get stuck inside what looks like a car that's being crushed. load order as follows

the only way i've been able to fix these issues is by deactivating the patches

More then likely the patches are being overwritten by something. If it were really a problem with the patches, wouldn't we all have it then? Since you have them loaded so early, its highlty likely its a conflict with one of your other mods.

I've seen these two bugs on the Xbox. Zeta, it seems, is just full of bugs and Broken Steel is a giant hack in many places.

I'm not familiar with these particular problems with the Unofficial patch, but I found that I didn't really need the UP, but used it anyway "just to cover my bases" and had major problems, Removed it and went back to 'normal'. I think if your game is going well w/o the UP, don't use it.

The BS plugin had a few bugs:

  • Undeleted moveable static anomaly in White House utility tunnel
  • 'Orphaned' references outside Rivet City


This unofficial replacement http://www.mediafire.com/?mnyy2mmznxu remedies the above and includes a work-around for the event mods have overwritten BrokenSteel.ESM's edits to Project Purity's exterior and botched Beth's one-time use of http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/RemapWaterType, making for irradiated water where/when it shouldn't be so. To initialize the fix, temporarily load it dead last and ~StartQuest RemapWaterTypeQUST if you use FOSE or ~StartQuest XX000EC5 where XX is indicative of the load index of the plugin (easily discernable in FOMM). After doing so, save, then move the plugin back up top and the water should be as Beth intended.
