I agree with this. My lvl71 Swampert very nearly got beat by her lvl51 Miltank in the rematch. I had to use a full restore to stop it from fainting. And then I got a lucky hit with hammer arm on it...
Also, I'm going to pick the grass starter in B/W and my brother is picking the fire one (we try to not pick the same starter, thats why I'll be picking Treeko in the R/S remakes).
I also think that R/S/E does not deserve all the critisism it gets, it's actually one of my favourite games in the series. It also improved and expanded on a lot of the things in the series (the upgraded box system and double battles come to mind). So here's the question, why does it look like everyone on the internet hates R/S/E? Are these people just a small (but very loud) minority or are those games really that bad? Please don't kill me for asking this...
Oh god I hope they don't remake the third generation games. It's not even about how I feel about the games, it's about how if R/S are remade then we'll never escape this cycle of remakes. R/S would be remade for the 3DS, which means D/P would be remade for the 3DS, and then when the next console comes out, R/B will be remade AGAIN for it, and then G/S will be remade AGAIN for it... no, just stop with the damn remakes Gamefreak!
All Pokemon games can be played with an original DS or DS Lite, that's enough, we don't have to remake any more.
Anyway, I feel that people don't like the 3rd generation because it's was in a completely different area than the first two. What I mean is, the first was in Kanto, the second was in Johto AND Kanto, and the third was in... Hoenn? What? It felt weird to people, being a brand new area and all. Plus, imo, the third generation is when Gamefreak started coming up with less inventive Pokemon.
